Hello, recently I bought the domain called LiveinPennsylvania.com.I thought this is a good one and started outbounding for about 5 companies in a day and have almost run out of realtors to outbound. So far I got only 2 replies asking for the price I said 1000 USD as LiveinPhiladelphia.com was sold for 1250 and explorepennsylvania.com for 1500. Moreover,20 percent will go to godaddy too. After I said the price I did not get any replies. I don't know what to do. What am I doing wrong here?? Did I overprice it or the domain name is bad?? What should I do now?? Please need some guidance as this is my 2nd domain. Thank you

Did you just give them a price or did you invite them to make an offer close to asking price?

I gave them the price after they asked about it

Hi Thanks for the reply i am presently looking for offers but could settle on quick sale of $1250 for the weekend for last for the week.

Keep that old sale price up sleeve if they offered say $250 you could then suggest there is history and counter or ask again for offer closer to asking price. You can give out prices or slow down your lead.

I would have approached different where i didn't have to price it right away.

As far as sales and negotiations go the higher the sales price the more expertise there is. These guys sell million dollar deals every week. Your now dealing with the best negotiators in the business so smarten up.

The other thing is because they do what they do they still want it for half price so they feel a winner. The proof of $1250 might get you half.

Yeaaa I have to. I am new to domain flipping and reading this forum to learn a lot and doing my best to sell this domain too but so far no luck. I hope to sell it quickly even if it was for a less price in order to buy some other domains.😅

Right mentality to move stock and start to see your return. But never be afraid to discount $1250 can be 1200 before you dare settle on your half way mark. Don't drop your margin these guys lap it up.
