No reply from Escrow.com - Should I be worried?

I have sold a domain ($x.xxx) and agreed with the buyer to have the transfer run through Escrow.com. The domain was transferred on 24.06. After Escrow.com still showed "Please transfer domain now", I sent an email to the Buyer on 03.07 with Escrow.com in CC that the domain had been successfully transferred. On 06.07. once again an email directly to Escrow.com that the domain has been successfully transferred. Both times no answer from Escrow.com. My Escrow.com Dashboard still shows: "Please transfer domain now".

Has anyone had similar experiences? Is this normal?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I have, & found their support helpful. I would send one more email to the buyer asking them to update the escrow site - buyers forget once they have the "goods" sometime (especially when new to buying) - in this email copy the support email at escrow (so both have record). then call them (escrow) after a few hours to respond. Good Luck

Is there a link in the control panel that you can click after you have transferred the domain that makes the "Please transfer domain now" message go away and puts the transaction status into "Awaiting buyer acceptance" or something like that?

Or anything in the interface where you can indicate that you've transferred the name? Sorry, it's been awhile since I've used escrow.com as a seller.

This is normal with @Escrow.com Support

Very poor support and service.

Case-in-point; how long they take to reply.

Hi @loano1 ,

We sent a private message to you to confirm which transaction ID and domain name it is so we can check. Looking forward to hearing from you.

From My Transactions, after selecting the transaction ID and clicking the "Continue" button from the "Please transfer domain" page, the Seller will be directed to the selection of transfer type (Push, Auth Code, or Username/Password). Once done, the page will no longer show the same message as it will show awaiting Buyer's confirmation of receipt and acceptance in the Escrow.com site.

Hope this helps. For any transaction-specific inquiries, feel free to message us here or through [email protected]. Thanks!

Hi @Escrow.com Support ,

Thanks for your private message, I just answered there and also sent a screenshot. Unfortunately I don't have a continue button, under my transfers I only see the button "Please transfer domain now". When I click on it I see a detail page. From there all tabs on the left side redirect to Escrow.com. In the middle of the page there is only information about buyer, seller and price. On the right side there is a history box, last entry:

Seller selected transfer type - Authorization Code

Yes, that is correct. It looks like you have already selected the transfer type (Auth Code). The details on how to proceed after the "Please transfer domain now" message in the transaction were actually as a response for RJ's question above. Sorry for the confusion.

We'll keep monitoring your specific transaction and get in touch with you for updates as discussed. :)
