Are they trustworthy?

Yes of course it has a very good reputation, at the hosting level it is one of the 4 best on the market

The sale was supposed to have ended at midnight Pacific Time but actually ended at midnight Eastern time. Frustrating as I had just finally managed to get the limit on registrations lifted and was about to register another bunch. (Their live support was very helpful, though not authorised to lift restrictions without backend help.) Much though I really love and need to get domains ultra-cheaply, it would surely make more sense for registrars to put an upfront realistic limit on such offers. instead of calling them unlimited and leaving customers to discover limitations and restrictions during the registration process itself.

Luckily I didn't wait till end of the day Pacific time, but registerred several earlier (1 payment ; more then 15 though at once, probalby adding 1 by 1) (not an enormous amount above that 15, but I'm glad I could particpate), and went to rest a bit afterwards, because I saw that I had to wait 15 minutes for an email to be sure. But I fell asleep and in the morning I checked my eamil. And it had succeeded.
But still... I only saw the promotion here very late, and only had 5 hours apparently to register domains.
I wish I'd known earlier about this (and the other) promotions.
I had already 1 domain there that I once bought earlier (a .online-domain). So I was in fact no real "new customer".
I'll have to get into a bit further, and see how good they are as registrar.

Most registrars underestimate the rate at which domainers can register names and hench they are over whelmed during such promos

Did anyone just get charged? I was charged an additional $300 last night because they had said that some of the domains I had purchased at the $1.99 rate were purchase a few minutes after 9pm EST. When I had purchased them they had showed $1.99 each. Now they're making me pay the difference. Has this happened to anyone else?

Weird for them to wait a week later to charge me too. O_o

Thats a technical issue from their end and most registrars are stubborn admitting it.

Thats another issue with new registrar's only asking for credit cards, they get the license to scam you anytime they want.

Stay safe!

They're not exactly new. They started out in the 90's.

Same here. They are trying to bill but I set a limit to the card and they were unable to execute the invoice.
I have registered those domains before the promo ended. There is something wrong from their side and they are pushing others to pay for their mistake.

They are now crediting me the difference. Thanks NamePros for giving me the chance to bring this to light.
