Great thread, as always, thank you @Robbie.

After just a quick check I see that of the 2,184 domains listed:
  • 470 start with the word/s 'Facebook' (21.5% of total)
  • 176 additionally contain the word/s 'Facebook' (8.0% of total)
  • 180 start with the letters 'FB' (8.2%)
  • 38 additionally contain the letter combination 'FB' (0.1%)
So the list contains circa. 37.8% of what few people would dispute are legitimate 'Facebook' domains, and this is without digging deeper either into such as typos or indeed other TM's that Facebook own.

To me the most striking initial take is the number of non-'Facebook' and non-'FB' domains that Facebook own (at least that are showable on the list above).

Great companies always use the domain name of Cow B,
Only some small companies will say that domain names are not important anymore,

I found an interesting thing, NOVI.com is not in the list.

Novi was still under privacy protection, from historical records however we can see the whois updated to reflect now, shall add to the list - Good catch.

We will never get every name as its a historical data search related to whois history so more will be added and some will remove too over time - Thanks :)

Intetesting list of fdomain mames

Not so much the domain names but more just how many domain names a companu needs to buy to protect their brand etc

Instead of companies buying just one or two domain names and leaving all the domain names that infringe their brand in a domain name registrar for others to buy and when they are bought the company then spouts trademark rubbish instead of looking in the mirror at the person that couldnt be bothered to porect their brand but blame others for their incompetence

Facebook has a vast array of patents and trademarks and has had for many years which protect its brand but this list shows that facebook actively uses domain names to protect its brand

Many companies can learn from facebooks list of domains as to just how many domains they need to buy to protect their brand and subsequent trademarks and patents

It's not on that list but I see that faecesbook.com has Facebook nameservers.

Wouldn't be surprised if they start using that as their main domain. These social media sites are going down the tube...
