Thinking of transferring back to GoDaddy...any rep suggestions?

Over the years I have moved hundreds of domains away from Godaddy. The primary reason was the ridiculous fee for privacy.

Now that they are offering a free 'partial' privacy option, in addition to significant issues I am having with one of the registrars I currently have names with, I am considering moving several hundreds of names back to them.

I've got the domainer club pricing, but I was wondering if there is anyone there that is ideal to work with.

Any suggestions as to a 'go getter' would be appreciated. If preferred, shoot me a direct message...any input would be appreciated.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
We will never know what happened behind closed doors...and I don't really care.

As long as Epik is headed by Rob and they keep the lowest domain pricing for investors and they keep on not charging for privacy the vast majority of my names will remain there.

What happened with Epik? I have a great rep at GD.

I do not think that GD premium reps. can be selected by customer. If your account qualifies (and it should after you finish the transfers) - then you'll be assigned one. Sometimes the reps. are changed, not sure why- rotation, changing roles? I had 2 such changes ( 3 reps. in total). All are great guys. Of course they are not "wizards", if there is something for example in system engineering dept. that needs to be fixed, maybe globally- they will do their best to escalate the problem.

Agreed...it would not be possible for me to choose one...I guess the first step would be to make a call to get the ball rolling. My hopes would be to shave a little off the reg price for a volume move. Thanks for your reply.

Straight up will tell you now moving bulk names will encounter a few that you will need to redo a few times get auth codes again etc it will happen everywhere on a large amount of names just a heads up i see people spit the dummy over this and make irrational comments in process.

LOL at 'spit the dummy'! Yeah, I know a bulk move would be messy so I wouldn't unnecessarily chastise any provider. That's one of the reasons I was seeking out a decent 'rep' beforehand in the event I would need someone to oversee things. I had one there back in the day but he is long gone.

I'm not sure if they'll let you choose your own rep (or how many domains you'll need to move there to qualify for one, I'm guessing at least 500)... but I have been EXTREMELY happy with my GoDaddy rep Marcus so you could always ask for him and see what they say! I'm a rather demanding customer and over the years Marcus has handled every issue & concern I've ever had in an efficient manner :)

I have had (3) reps in the time I have been @ GoDaddy. I have dealt with many others at some point and they have all been great. Everyone in that division is a long time GoDaddy employee and very qualified.
