RememberMyName.com sold for $10,000 on Sedo in 2019.
Did the buyer not have many other choice for $15?

The domain is currently forwarding to a Twitter Profile Mark Haidar, Founder of Vinli and some other ventures.

Why do you think someone would pay $10,000 for this? Is it just an "I want it" purchase by a rich man or some other reason behind it, that I am missing out on?

RememberMyName isn't that bad. But I would have gone for RememberMe if it was available

Good phrases sell. Maybe not as frequently as other domain niches as some people don't like long names.

Maybe there are other reasons why it sold for that much like having a good back link profile.

I don't think anything would prompt to sell.
I think the buyer was really fond of the name which led to the sale.

The name has been used used at least twice as a movie and book titles.

Most recently the story of David Crosby in 2019.

Ya. But who would price it that much. better yet, who would buy!

And you think that could be the reason behind the sale?

Exactly my point! This is like either the seller knows something or he/she got lucky!

It really doesn’t matter what any of us think of the name. The seller asked for the price and got it. No point questioning the merits of the name or price. It was worth 10K to someone.

This discussion is more to understand how to predict such names such that more sellers like these come for our names :D
