It almost makes me sick to visit Godaddy just to transfer my remaining domains out. What the Hell has gotten hold of their metrics

* I will add, Treat your Customers like Fools - ???? .

The Ignorance of Godaddy knows no bounds - I'm even embarrassed for them.

They spend millions + millions on Advertising and promotion but never show real integrity or understanding towards their customers and what they themselves sell. There is such an internal conflict in that organization

Separately
Their transfer-out service (Godaddy) is now Top-Notch. Done and dusted in two minutes providing each domain request is a standalone

The amount of money Godaddy spends on advertising never equates to sellers selling "their" domains for top dollar. Only Godaddy's "inventory" of expired domains benefits.

THERE HAS TO BE A BETTER WAY.

Godaddy just has too many internal and separately driven goals and targets I think many of us have seen it before. (when you've been in management) With their highly driven customer facing (and the experience) profile it just becomes chaotic when you don't have structure

Too many roosters ruling the roost and it shows. It's down to internal goals/targets being independent or simple lack of target/objective coordination.

Godaddy has relied on market growth and high profile presence replacing service and price considerations. It wont last them forever

lol I recall a random rep at Godaddy who helped me out while I was in the hospital. He wasn't a "premier accounts" rep.

This rep was pretty awesome handled my transfers while I was bedridden. Again he wasn't a "premier accounts" rep. just someone in the sales end frontend.

He gave me a great deal on domain transfers for .com.

It was cheaper than the rest. of course I was transferring many domains.

long story short. I was "transferred over" to the "premier accounts" specialist and what do you know? my original discount rate disappeared.

so......get "Transferred over to "Premier accounts" meaning I guess I'm a good customer and giving godaddy money?

yet my reward is losing the best Godaddy rep I ever had and then my new transfer price was $1 more what original was quoted to me and I had been using for two weeks worth of transfers.

Godaddy seriously needs to pull out a dictionary to see what "Premier" really means.

For sure it does not mean "You suck as a customer so we're not going to give you the best transfer price possible. We're just going to charge you more now that you are in the Premier Accounts department"

whaaaaa?????? lol

Similar experience at my end around about 2012 account , Godaddy evidently sacked my BUSINESS account rep - and guess what all my account benefits (as a Business customer and 100 others) the same day - I knew they were just totally dumb from that day on. How on earth did they relate 'probably all' customers to whatever employee misdemeanor is beyond me

Nearly 10 years later they still don't know their arse-from-their-elbow on just about anything about their own business and it still shows.

Yes I did persevere up until this year - but enough is enough
