Is there such a thing as a Priceless Domain?

Are there any Domains out there would be considered ‘Priceless’?

For example

8.com

or

BillofRights.org

If you could own one domain to never sell, what would it be?

Thanks.

Definitely, I have one, have offered them five figures, but the person won't reply (maybe the emails don't reach them or, they don't want to sell), its a four letter .COM which is special to me and I 'm trying to acquire, started with $5k sent them $15k out of frustration but they won't reply, and that's far more than the valuation of that domain because it isn't premium... :(

I checked web archive and the domain is sitting idle for 20 years... don't know what they plan to do with it...

Cheers

I think domains like Apple.com or Amazon.com are priceless because if somebody with enough money wanted to buy these names they won't be able to do so. At trillion dollar market cap certainly Apple / Amazon won't sell these domain names even for hundred billion dollars. Off course this thought is based on current situation. In future if Apple or Amazon go bankrupt for any reason the situation will change.

I'm pretty sure they would sell their domain names for 900 trillion dollars.

It all depends on the domain owner. If the domain is too valuable for a domain owner, he/she won't sell... at least in his/her lifetime. No matter the quality of domain.

Everything has a price, apart from sentimental or crazy.
A name I liked once had a sad memorial type shrine on it - got the feeling it would be pointless to even ask, and it didn't feel right anyway. And crazy is just crazy, some folks are just stubborn, lol

I think x.com is a name you can't put a price tag on

I have a hunch that Elon Musk named his son "X" because he owns X.com and intends to leave it to his son.

That's probably as close to priceless as you can get: -- a billionaire's legacy domain. And it's a single letter .com as well.

I believe everything has a price.. Only situation where I can imagine not selling some name for some sum of money is if I only had some really personal blog or something under it.. I mean something like a blog of my child growing up / in memoriam site for some family member and that kind of stuff.. Not as for a name only, I can't think of such a name.
