Is it possible to list a domain for sale on Epik that is re'g at GD, that is still within the 60 day lock ? I appretiate that it is unlikely to sell within the remaining lock period but just want to know if Epik have accs with other registrars like Dan do to facilitate pushes in this situation ?

Hello Doofer,

Thanks for your interest in our platform.
External listings are possible on the Epik Marketplace, and using our landers is also possible.
However, to close the transaction, the name will have to be transferred to Epik, it's typically not an issue.

To do so, you can add the name(s) to your account from here :
https://registrar.epik.com/portfolio-import

And if you wish to use our landers, you can set your name(s) nameservers to :
ns3.epik.com
ns4.epik.com

If you have any issue to list your names, feel free to contact our support team or PM me and I'll check.

good to see somebody is still eager to promote epik

but how is that "typically not a problem"
within a 60 day lock time frame?

Typically not a problem as in it's unlikely to sell within that time frame !? I took it that as it has to be transferred to Epik to close the deal, then there is no point listing until the 60 day lock is over or have I misunderstood that ? As I mentioned, Dan have have accs at other registrars so that if a domain still subject to a lock sells it can be pushed to their acc at that registrar hence allowing the sale to go ahead, I believe Sedo is the same.

Happy to see you here.
It's typically not an issue to transfer the name to Epik and close the transaction as most of the time, the 60 days have passed, and if it's still in the 60 days delay, Discussing with the buyer is still possible.
We definitely have volume, and if it's to happen, we'll try to make it work for both seller and buyer.

We also have accounts at other registrars and can faciliatate some transactions.
I'm not working on that part, but Tony could likely help.

Possible, Yes (and when subject to other locks like recent renewal) but it's _pain_ for both the buyer and I'm sure epik support staff.

It always leaves a bitter taste when you "win" something and then cant have it for some time.
