**IMO you can't look to the Namejets. The domains were auctioned ONLY a Namejet (so people who aren't memberof Namejet-lists sent to their emailaddress didn't get notified of the auctionand usually no .ws-auction are held in prior yearsa Namejet)). The domains are actually much more wurth as these are registerred till 2026 and a lot also till 2099 .

***ALSO IMPORTANT FOR THE FUTURE are the .WS-emoji-domains !!

You need to participate in the NameJet auctions when they occur. Is the only way I know.

it's not 2016, it's 2026. And the others 2099, of the Namejet auctions.
Of course you have to check the whois of several .ws-domains. There will be mentioned if these are registerred for 1 year or till 2026 or till 2099.
As many of these domains were sold in these auctions, the sold ones have now other owners, and are probably being sold of for sale by these owners.

There's something I found strange about the auctions (anyhow : these began in august then oktober or so, then november then december and possibly in january there were also some auctioned names).

I presume that the domains with 2026 as expirydate can be transferred away to other another registrar, but those of 2099 have to stay highly probably at name.com (so only an internal move to another account at name.com would be accepted by ICANN).

My one and only .ws. Cosmetics.ws

Hand reg today for $7 USD at Dynadot. Couldn't resist the keyword

Shame about the TLD though

So, I'll ask: why is .ws so hated? There are a lot of crappy endings, but .ws seems to be the worst. There are incredible keywords available and no market, seemingly. I'm just curious why it is soooo bad? Other endings that aren't favored still seem to have some market.
