Sedo to me: You're not important enough

So in my continuing quest to automate everything I reached out to Sedo to get API access. Their response:

Unfortunately, we would not be able to grant this access. API access is extremely restricted, and typically only granted to accounts with large portfolios, and a high volume of business. Your account does not meet the requirements at this time.

Such a nice way to treat customers...I'm sorry buy you're not important enough for us to give you this. Even though there is really no reason to be so restrictive

But having sold a domain though almost every other marketplace bit none though Sedo I can only conclude they are no longer a relevant marketplace and closed my account.

What a great way to ensure continued irrelevance turn away domain listings.

Thanks @Sedo

Personally I have no problems with their import tool. I also pre-verify all of my domains through the "A" record via my host using their API.

That's why I asked what the OP is trying to do.

Maybe the Sedo API is not where OP should be looking

maybe you haven't used it for years
and for several thousand domains

As I see, their API is SOAP type...
It requires significantly more time and efforts to implement versus REST API...

And what sense to upload X,XXX domains on Sedo???
The best Sedo times are already in the past... Conversion is very low or sometimes even ZERO.
I park and list there only some BIN domains, no more than a few tens.

Yeah I noticed that, but there are pre-made libraries on Github that do all the hard work for you.

My thoughts exactly. If I could have automated it with an API it'd be worth an occasional sale because it would be a one time implementation, then it would just be on autopilot. But the ongoing work to upload new names, update existing names, and delete sold name IMO isn't worth it for the conversions I have personally seen, and have heard others here talk about.
