Ya know, I thought the name rolled through these threads some time ago.
I just could not remember and didn't search for it.
Well, I'm sure that was a ROI for you. That's what counts.

How AR and VR Will Enhance the Future of the Sports Arena Experience
https://www.archdaily.com/941030/ho...nce-the-future-of-the-sports-arena-experience

vrsportsarena (hr2016)

One thing I noticed in that article was a expected growth now for VR/AR of 23% by end of year.
Seems reasonable.
But I do think COVID is pushing some sectors at a higher level that we might see more in numbers next year.
Most of those areas are ones that are still under development.

Nice chunk
Yes, that is the part of AR with the most promise monetarily... REALTIME (live) AR
Good sale but in my opinion, it was worth asking more or waiting.
I could be wrong, but a ROI is a ROI.

That is suppose to happen in 2023
This or next year (because of covid), they should reveal their VR/AR/MR HMD.
Probably resembles Windows MR.
Could resemble this new offer from HP
https://www.theverge.com/2020/5/28/...xed-reality-vr-headset-price-launch-preorders

The part I am curious about is if they use a Qualcomm chip like everyone else or design one of their own.
If they use the Qualcomm chip, we know what the limitations are.
I'm betting on the use of the Qualcomm chip with ties to 5G and perhaps gig-fi in the future phones. It's just way cost effective.

Perhaps in future generations, they will have one of their own as they find out what the need/better for what they want to do in real world test with apps from the dev community/feedback..

You do have a point. I might have been able to wait or get a higher amount out of it, but it was a handreg, so quite a roi!

Yes. I don't know what the current conversions are but I think that is about $2k
It's a ROI and will keep you afloat well for the next one unless you carry a bunch of dead weight.

...

Speaking of that dead weight...
over the last 18 months, I have dropped almost 50% of my names. Just a few more to go.
Normally I trim 10% annually. And reg 15% more. But I had not done it for a couple of years.
Big house cleaning was needed. I hold about 225 and never get over 500. And some were sales.
But the names I hold, 60% of them are reg'd up 2-3 years. the strongest names.
I'm done with any bulk reg'n.
Just a few precisely picked names in tech fields I have been watching for years.

On a bright note...
I think COVID problems will cause a need for names that we should start to see at the end of the year across the board. If not for facebook etc, we probably would have started to see it.
But we all know you can't reach as many folks as your own identity you can directly control.
It works for the small guy with a limited budget best. So, that's were names sales have sunk over the past 5 years or more. the $500 - 1K end user sales are really missing.

I am trying to downsize at the moment so sold two domains last week which were on the cheap side:

Sold 360creator (.com) $800
Sold MusicXR (.com) $1000

Sold a few more last week but these were outside of immersive tech.

I'm trying to form a "MASTERMIND" group (in the Napoleon Hill sense) of established Namepros users who have invested in valuable XR / VR / AR portfolios. We can share information in group direct messages to help each other. For the mastermind principle to work, all must operate with complete trust, harmony and definiteness of purpose.

The intended purposes include:
  • Building our fortunes
  • Stronger and more efficient portfolios
  • Influencing the industry
  • Enabling us to fulfill our respective callings in life
  • Assisting in new acquisitions
  • Sharing sales techniques
  • Optimizing pricing
  • Joint ventures
  • Name trading
  • Catching mistakes
  • Website development
  • Encouragement and motivation
Looking for 1 to 4 top people who must be solid in all of these attributes:
  1. Loyal and trustworthy character
  2. Team mentality and friendly demeanor
  3. Post history on related forums
  4. Namepros feedback record
  5. Valuable XR portfolios with sales potential in the XX,XXX to XXX,XXX range
  6. Domaining knowledge base
  7. Proven sales history success
  8. Awareness of and belief in the XR industry
  9. Indefinite, multi-year time commitment
If you are interested in applying for the group, please send me a direct message. Thank you!

Most likely the name was listed on Sedo by a prior registrant, and they probably never removed once the name changed hands.

Those bids are likely just offers made in the time the name has been listed on Sedo. Best to contact Sedo Customer Service to request they remove the name from the prior registrant's account...imo.

I agree with @Constantin S , contact sedo support pronto.
They are supose to be checking the registrar before any auction so no matter.

You have not signed a auction agreement for the name, not much worry but it presents a potential hassle.

Go back and clear the TXT info of the name at the registrar. When you bought it, it transferred with the info in tact.

Ya know, I could not see the data in that image.
I copied it and blew it up and I think you may be right.
It's just the number of bids when it was listed in their system.
I'll bet if you click on it it would just lead you to a contact their domain specialist to obtain.

and the term LBE continues to grow ;)
btw I did a news search as several of my LBE names have had a large increase in visit within the past month...no offers......"Yet"

I understand your likeness for the term. I should add that I am invested in LBE using other terms.
But can you state what biz model needs this/LBE in their name ?
I am only trying to make you think about just how high the demand will be for the term.
Not that I doubt someone will use it.

Yes, I see your point in a b2b market anyway.
