Chicago literally has a shore/coast, no need to build a new one. Could be a website advertising all the activities at this location, events,bars&restaurants...
There is a Chicago Shore Club aswell.

I can't think of any other domain at this location with better value, so not sure why you would say reg fee.

It's called south shore country club, I've been there
and there is no coast, there is a lake
and all along the beach is called lake shore

imo...

There is still somewhat of a coast even though it should be at a sea per definition.
Chicagoshore sounds way better than chicagolakeshore aswell imo.
Still believe this holds decent value and is a recognizable name for the area.

$xxxx fair market value if 3 million people adopt the phrase Chicago shore. Start small, maybe change all the signs on Lake Shore Drive. Renew the domain until maps get updated, then sell. Grease the right palms at city hall to speed things up. In the meantime pray for chicagostore typo traffic, good luck!

I'm not seeing the issue here, there is a Lake Shore. So there's a shore in Chicago. It might not be the most imprensive one, compared to other places, but it 's still there and this domain isn't just made up.

Domaining is a go with the flow business. Jersey shore, ham sandwich, 3D, whatever - the wide culture sets language standards and domainers follow. The domain chase can be mistaken as trend setting but it’s not. Domainers who go toe to toe with language standards are either

• misguided
• genius
• pump and dump operators

Chicago shore isn’t a bad name. It was good enough for the company bought by Wintrust and it may be good enough again, just be ready for the long haul if you’re asking $25k.
