this is my hobby to keep checking what happened to domains I sold.

bgain is also nice live site sold for mid xxxx
xred also developed into nice site sold for 5 figure
wallpapers/io developed into nice site sold for low xxxx
digit/ly developed into nice site sold for low xxxx
Growh sold for low xxxx developed into nice site
kidsflix sold for low xxxx developed into nice site

sadly 70% domains I sold are not developed … some are with forwarding but that doesn't count as developed in my books.

Yeah, I like checking this from time to time. It's interesting to track where names end up. This isn't an exhaustive list, but here are a few.

Carly/co/ - Sold last year. Australian car subscription site.
Anna/co/ - App or something related to restaurant hiring.
Chutney/Friendly/Internships (all co) - No longer developed.
Ocho/co/ - Bought by a Mark Cuban backed mobile app company that was either acquired or disappeared. They got really great press for a while.
Hombre/co/ - Was bought by a media company but appears to be on DAN now.

Atlanta/Townhomes/ForSale (com) - Looks like it's owned by BuyDomains now. Grrrr. (Shakes fist at sky!)
Uplift/dotTV/ - Spiritual/conscious films company.
MediaPro/dotTV/ - European media company bought it and upgraded their entire business to it. Pretty cool.
Garten/CO/ - Healthy food delivery company. Sold last year.

At first it seems like a semi-pointless and fruitless exercise.

But to reflect back on each sale and sometimes specific negotiations, is really invaluable.

There's definitely a few where I left a stack of cash on the table. This was usually due to an old BIN price that I hadn't updated in years.. Others were pretty close to what I thought a particular buyer was going to do with a name. With SealNow, I think I could have gotten much more from a different buyer, but sometimes it's nice to see a small business use it today.

Not to be a broken record, but the video below is one of the most interesting videos I've found on valuations. It is about valuing a logo, but the concepts can be applied directly to domain valuations. I've watched it several times, and encourage all domain investors, new or experienced to view it at least once.
