Greater Bay Area is the term for this area.

it's too long So you can shorten to just Greater Bay. but even that's too long unless you have just GreaterBay.com.

So you will need to add another word making it three word domain

Shorter is always better so

I've seen some regs like

GBA which stands for obviously Greater Bay Area.

GBABank.com
GBAChina.com


you can also go with GB which is a multi use as GB can also stand for Great Britain too.

GB and GBA are generic enough that maybe someone else would want it for something other than Greater Bay Area.

just got the last set of "GBA" domains for short LLLNN combos

GBA stands for Greater Bay Area.

"GBA" in quotes gets 91,300,000 results (most likely for Game Boy Advanced)
"GBA" in quotes and in title gets 9,250,000 results.

add that to the fact China is "branding" the Greater Bay Area development with the abbreviation of GBA in their promotional materials.

Any company website that operates in this region will want a short GBA domain.

The chinese love repetitive numbers. like 88,99,77,66,33,55 etc etc.
