T rolls are the best possible way to get your coins from the bank.

It is a really clever take, @Martin Andrews!!

Now it is difficult to say how much it would fetch. I am first trying to think end use.
  1. Some sort of cryptocurrency or general currency writer or blogger or academic would I think love the name - memorable, cute, not too long, .com. The problem is in general that audience does not pay much for a domain name. So I think a sale there is higher than the average sell-through rate suggests, but is probably just somewhere in mid to mid-high $$$ range.
  2. A cryptocurrency startup that likes the cleverness and the play on control with coin. Name memorable. Could see pricing somewhere mid $$$$ here. But chance of sale not high I think. The ed ending is a bit of a negative for company names.
  3. Some other use I have not thought of. Here the idea might actually build on the troll part of the word. Something social media. Not sure. Both controls and coins have many aspects.
  4. As a misspell of control catching some traffic and someone throws up some content and hopes to monetize enough to make the effort worthwhile. Not a bad name as it could catch both intended and unintended traffic without any obvious TM issues. Somewhere high $$$ to low $$$$ range.
One of the comparators that GD appraisal gives is coindox which is shorter, but also I presume a play on another word, coinbox. No ed. NameBio does not show much comparators ending in trolled. Clearly ton with coin. Uncontrolled went for $800 but 14 years ago.

I would see option of sending to a brandable place, and if they accept it they will suggest a price, probably somewhere lower/mid $$$$.

Or list it on the usual marketplaces, and price a bit more aggressively, like $888 to $1488, but with make offer, including perhaps somewhere with a payment plan option, that might appeal if a writer wanted it.

Best of luck with it. I have never tried a name in this niche and of this nature, so take anything I say with a grain of salt. BTW someone has the Twitter handle so that is one possible user right there.

Bob

ps You might, if still possible, want to edit your original post to mask the name, since this thread is already on page one of Google for the term.

Cointrol yes, with ed? I don't think so. Although it sounds nice.

Cointrol is for sale, an end user would probably go for that first.

Anyway, 1-2K, maybe, on a brandable marketplace where it can get a nice logo & some exposure.

imo
