Please I need some advice on how to best list my domain names in GoDaddy auction for it to be among the most active. Is it also advisable to set a reserve price?

Thanks in advance.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Reserve prices on GoDaddy auctions cost you $4.99 per auction.

setting reserves will usually result in poor action unless the name is amazing (few such names).

Yes, but is it advisable to spend such money?

I would say probably not, most domain investors avoid public auctions with reserves, they will buy expired auctions, no reserve, and they will get the name. Most think people are just playing games with reserves on bad names.

I mean if you had a LLL.com sure try it with a reserve, spend $4.99 see that's what GoDaddy realized, if you are going to play games we are going to get paid.

Like this auction, https://auctions.godaddy.com/trpItemListing.aspx?miid=326028138

No one believes those bids are real, GoDaddy got $4.99 and it will never reach reserve. Is $4.99 worth promoting nonsense? Up to the individual owner.
