Hi all
How much do you think a domain with 200 visits a day is worth. Or said another way how much would you pay for such a domain. The traffic is all type in and although it's hard to explain let's say the domain is typo with no trademark issues.

All opinions are appreciated.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
There are many parameters besides traffic that determines the value of a domain name. Some are:

- What is the extension
- Business niche of the domain
- Competition in that niche
- Advertising cost for that niche
- Advertising revenue from adverts placed for that niche
- Geographical source of the traffic

- ... what type of typo is it will also affect the value of the domain

And these are just a few.

I will ask you a similar type of question. The piece of string I am holding, which you cannot see, well how long is it?

(No that was not said in sarcasm, I simply wanted to show how knowing next to nothing that no reasonable answer can be given to your question.)

Intrinsic value boils down to earnings. Do parked earnings exceed renewal cost? If so, assign an earnings multiple and voila, V=M(E-R)

V = value
M = earnings multiple (typically low single digit, determined by individual investor)
E = annual parked earnings
R = annual renewal cost

ok, I apologize the original post is not as informative as it should be but I am not a professional. I'll try to explain the situation.
I can acquire the mentioned domain but the price might be too high. It hasn't been parked and there's no data on earnings. The traffic is all type in no bots.
The domain is actually google but written in different alphabet. So it has some traffic which has been redirected to other sites. So maybe the right question is there a way to monetize it or it can be used only to redirect the traffic.

No apology necessary. Google written in a different alphabet is confusingly similar to Google’s mark. Knowing that, and given my fear of ACPA financial pain, I’d click ‘next’ and continue to sift thru the millions of other names available to hand reg or buy on the aftermarket.

With the new information you have supplied I would give it a miss, but that is a personal call by me. Even if it is written in the Russian Cyrillic alphabet or similar then I would still give it a miss personally. :xf.wink:
