According to an article that I read, VideoGames.co sold for $999.
That is a steal.

However, what surprised me the most:

VideoGames.com is appraised by Estibot at $240,000 and VideoGames.co at $240.
I believe, this is easily a $5,000 name in .CO

Fun Fact: Video.Games sold for $183,000.

Do you still trust Estibot?
What's the right price for this domain according to you?

Estibot works mostly for Keyword domains in .com extension.
I have seen estibot value at $100 selling for $xxxx range.

@Vito left a very good and thorough response in the comment section.

Someone did indeed get a good deal...

I personally don't think much of CO domain,
Once at an exhibition,
There's a company whose domain name is CO,
He was given the letter M,
Then asked him if he had missed the letter M

I have the .io and wouldn’t take less than $xx,xxx. Someone got a nice deal.

Exactly! I don't even know whether it works for .COM or not!

Absolutely! Fantastic response!

Absolutely! This went way cheap! We will hear some news that someone made a fortune selling this domain

IMO "video games" is a bit old-fashioned, so maybe that was a factor.

Love people who use auto appraisals.

They're hard enough for .COM

.Co
investor, presume?

Case in point;

ACFX.com was bought for $20K on 5/17/2020.

Know why estibot has $36,000 valuation on ACFX.com?

Acfx last sold for $35,000 02/01/2011. Esti based off 2011 sale; still no update.

Estibot cheats with their appraisals,

and updates the valuations after big sales;

Look up Voice.com estibot valuation

It's not. What would you say is the new fashion then. I think it is an evergreen term.

Ya. But still. People do rely on automated appraisal for a ballpark figure.

But isn't that what any mathematical model would do? They would use past data to predict future demand/price.

I don't like .co, so I think a fair deal. Estibot appraisals aren't perfect, but I agree in this case, it looks like a high $XXX to low $XXXX domain to me.

cheers

"Video games" name was used when they weresomething new, when there was a need to distinguish them from other types of games. Now they are just games, nobody calls them "video games" because when you say "games" it's "video games" by default. It's the other types of games that need a descriptor (board games, tabletop games etc.).

Hi

if.... you ever did
then how do you feel now?

shame, that a non-life form can have such an effect on humans.

starts to makes me think, that maybe The Matrix, was more than a movie

imo...

$999 seems to be a fair reseller price for this domain. An end user would pay much more, but I'm not sure if there's really that many end users for such a generic name. Video Games Company would be a stupid/too generic name for a video game developer, it might be more suitable for a video game store, but I'm not sure if an offline video game store is still a thing (Steam and Gog and other sites have already gobbled this market up).
