Someone requested for a domain here, submitted mine and it was chosen, he asked for my payment details and i gave him, payment was made since 17th may and I requested for his dynadot details immediately I confirmed payment, so I can push his domain to him but he hasn't been replying.

How can someone pay mid XXX and still careless to receive his product ???

We are in the middle of a pandemic so who knows what has happened. There could be medical issues or this person has some other prorities. You have done what you can, maybe give it a week and then send another message. Ask the mods and see if they can contact the person for you.

Thank you. I just want his domain sent to him to avoid stories.

Happened to me before even on NP. Guy pays for domain, disappeared and the name ended up expiring months later. I sent him auth code and never heard from him again.

Hello @balabuzz i got your mail and your domain is still intact with me. I am restricted from the direct message and am trying to push your domain name to the name you sent me but @Dynadot keep saying such name doesn't exist as forum name. Please do check your dynadot forum name again and DM so I can send it instantly. You can equally reach me with the mail on my profile.

So I see. I was referring to createaweb's post. Guy paid, never contacted again and name dropped a while after that.

I'm glad this worked out.

I once sold a domain at afternic and never got any details from the buyer. I kept trying to find him/her, but couldn't. I only in the last year or two stopped renewing the name and let it expire, having paid at least 3 times in renewals what I had received from the purchasing party.

I think someone picked it up in a drop service, it's still active.

Huh ? It's not my duty to renew it

Of course not.

I originaly bought and later renewed it because I originally had designs on it, but was too busy, and took an offer.

I didn't have to renew it, but I still wanted to make something of it. Still, if I did, It could be ripped out from under me. So I didn't build it into anything.

It's a lesson, is what I'm saying. I learned I had to let it go.

I haven't got as many domains now, I used to have twice as many. If I was doing better at dominaning, I would have at least double what I once had.

Luckily, I have learned to let go of losing investments. Even if all I am losing is time.

Simply put, we have to do the honorable thing, but it should not be to our own sacrifice. And we cannot get emotionally attached to 'a name.'

(Lots of edits. Won't be using my dumb 'smart' phone to reply again. I apologize.)
