Watching an expired domain on godaddy the owner seemed to have no interest in. Using a third party whois service to avoid hitting the page too many times.
It went into the public auction part 5 days ago, was meant to end this morning but was extended for a further 24 hours instead of the close out auction (another 5 days). Guessing that’s due to me putting any interest in it.
went to add to cart but didn’t buy, later going to the domain directly said it was unavailable even though it was in my cart. removing it from my cart didn’t fix its availability.
now the auction part has disappeared and replaced with godaddy offering to be a domain broker for like $70 & commission
I’m presuming the owner didn’t suddenly renew it as the Whois hasn’t been updated but godaddy are preying on my interest here? Has anyone had any experience just waiting it out instead of giving into godaddys demands?
Domain would be nice to have but not worth it at the “brokered” price!
