TRUMP — RUSSIA’S GOING TO WANT TO MAKE A DEAL: Speaking to reporters yesterday, President Trump expressed confidence that based on his “good relationship” with President Vladimir Putin, Russia will want to make a new agreement.

“Russia didn't adhere to the treaty, so until they adhere, we will pull out. But there's a very good chance we'll make a new agreement or do something to put that agreement back together,” Trump said. “So, I think what's going to happen is we're going to pull out, and they're going to come back and want to make a deal.”


Russia has also continuously violated its obligations under the Treaty, despite a host of U.S. and Allied efforts over the past several years. Since 2017, the United States has declared Russia in violation of the Treaty for limiting flight distances over the Kaliningrad Oblast to 500 kilometers (km) and for denying flights within 10 km of portions of the Georgian-Russian border. Most recently, in September 2019, Russia violated the Treaty again by denying a flight over a major military exercise, preventing the exact transparency the Treaty is meant to provide.

Trump has not been kind to RU. Not sure if he's really leaving because RU violates the treaty so often, wants to stop the RU from flying over US / NATO, or is a Manchurian candidate.

A shooting by a Saudi national at the Naval Air station in Corpus Christi yesterday is being said by the FBI to be terrorism-related.

Guard was able to employ a pop-up barricade, the suspect was killed when he exited his car and shot at the guards. One sailor was wounded but has been released from the hospital.

"President Donald Trump on Friday demanded that governors reopen churches, synagogues and mosques “right now,” threatening to override them if they do not do so by the weekend."

He doesn't have that power. Some governors won't. Evangelicals will go out and protest.

Keeps doing stuff that will backfire on him.

Didn't see the whole thing. BTW, you're wrong. Federal judges in Kentucky and NC have already ruled the ( democrat ) Governors are violating the #1A.

If you can open a grocery store, you can open a chruch. Period.

And I'm telling you... The President doesn't even have to wait for a judges order. He has the OBLIGATION to protect and enforce the Bill of Rights.. i.e. the constitution. That's not the normal process but there are no laws that restrict his authority.

The President is the HEAD of the executive branch. He is the head of federal law enforcement, the national guard, the military. Even THE CAPITAL POLICE and FEDERAL MARSHALLS ultimately answer the President of the USA.

Just like Kennedy told the DOJ, who sent the FBI to investigate and stop discrimination in the Southern states in the 1960's, President Trump has the right and power to make sure state governments are not discriminating based on religion.

You're caught in a circular argument. The #10A doesn't give the states any rights. It only lets them govern within the restrictions of the constitution.

So Trump can't tell them where to put stop-signs but he can MAKE them open churches, enforce federal laws like immigration, non-discrimination, etc.
