SAV.com - $5.95 .com Registrations

I haven't used them yet but I noticed they have .com for $5.95 and are icann accredited.

I noticed another member has been registering names with them.

Anyone have feedback about them?

FYI, I don't usually do business with Paypal (for my personal reasons). Also, std disclaimer - no affiliation to sav or dan except I use dan as a user/customer

Sav is unusable without Paypal.

Track records’ are everything in this business, where come and go. No Paypal is tie-breaker; Dan has longer track-record, and accepts PP!!

They were aiming for the end of January, 4 months have passed and they still did not provide the option of selling your domains... meanwhile getting banned by dan...

afternic/sedo integration should be expected sometime in 2030 when all the domains will have transitioned to some virtual reality clouds...

as they say ideas are worthless, execution is everything... you may have a great LLL, sleek design but if your execution thus team fails nothing can help you...

Just add an account n I try to add visa payment with postal code- it shown error - check your information.

Bank tell me no issues with my card when I ask the postal code ?? Cannot find paypal option . Strange

Sav.com - We just learned that over the last 48 hours our fraud detection provider was blocking some legitimate users from adding a new payment method to Sav. The issue has been corrected and if you experienced any issue with an order at Sav we ask that you please try again

I try this round, update payment with credit card. Now your system still shown payment method not saved after several attempts with credit card updated.

If you don't mind, please reach out to [email protected] with your Sav email address and the last 4 digits of the card and we would be happy to take a look and see what's causing the card to be rejected.

Was trying to get in touch with you via email thats been left unanswered for more than 24 hours now. As is with your phone line: "no support agents are currently available to take your call". Please do something about the problem described in email with Subject: Re: Sav.com Receipt, i am still cut off my own domain name with no possibilities to access any options. I understand that most probably its cause is a failed email verification process and it was my inadvertence to setup mx records only for subdomain, i apologize, extra for bringing up such daft question. To speed up the process of recover i approve to assign my sender email address as contact info for the domain to pass verification process. Waiting for your response

Do you mind DMing me the email address that submitted the ticket or the ticket number so I can look it up? I'm looking under "Re: Sav.com Receipt" but am not seeing it.

We do have that on our todo list as well! In the mean time, you can go to the Reports tab, export a list of all the domains in your account and sort it in a spreadsheet viewer.

I just noticed a welcomed basic feature.
:search box for my domains:
(not sure how long it's been there)
but it beats guess what page my domain is listed on
and having to manually find it.

can u explain how u handle expired names? til when renew..transfer out..do we need mail u to unlock/get codes...restore fees..etc....ty
ps for common tlds of course

Also, has anybody successfully made a push to another account on Sav? It's been 5 days, and my buyer still hasn't got the domain.

I mean, what's a point in cheap registration, if we can not dispose of our domains?

Common man, you are doing too much and being too hard on them. They are new in the scene so let them do things as they can. Every person has the right to choose who to do business with and the Paypal issue which you are pressing is the same. Paypal themselves is not available for some countries or makes some countries send only and collects money from them when they dont allow them to receive payments and compete with the rest of the countries and make profitable businesses so please back off and dont be hard on @Nick R and his company unless you had very bad experience getting one of their services.

Ah yes, sorry about that. Unless a specific registry/tld has restrictions, a domain can be renewed up to 30 days after expiration. An auth code can be viewed for the domain in your account without an email. A restore may be possible in some circumstances but they are handled on a case by case basis through a support ticket.
