Seems as though Coronavirus is trending.

Prior to coronavirus.info being mentioned here.
Coronavirusinfo.com wasn't regged. It is now! Not mine. Lol

There wasn't much.

Best recent reg has to be Coronavirus.org (it works!)

taken before in

.com
.net
.org (now)
.cn
And mine
Coronavirus.es
Coronavirus.eu
Coronavirus.us

I should have reg these but they are taken now.

.in
.co
.io

Wouldn't go too crazy. I'd do exact match only this one not Coronavirus+keyword.

I'd say any Asian country near China and it's extension should be good.

Namecheap has stopped allowing domain names including the words coronavirus, covid, and vaccine from being registered through its service.

https://domainnamewire.com/2020/03/26/stop-covid-19-domain-names

BTW: Fox Corps has a nice site up at www.coronavirusnow.com

Really, thats a laugh and a half.

Why? Because every single SMS SPAM that I receive on my cell phone is from a NAMECHEAP registered domain name. I emailed their abuse@ email and their "legal department" told me there was nothing they could do about it - I should contact the FCC. Whats the purpose of an abuse@ email then? I am fully aware of the FCC - its a black hole. I would have thought people at a registrar would start to look into the dozen examples I sent them and perhaps they received others - maybe put a case together to take those domains off line while further investigating. Nope. Kick the can down the road.

So there's nothing they can do about the spammers but they can prevent other domain names they do not like from being registered? Their knee-jerk SJW reaction is pathetic.

Reminds me of when CVS pharmacies removed tobacco products from their stores claiming “sale of tobacco products is inconsistent with our purpose—helping people on their path to better health.” I do not smoke and I do not promote smoking where it is legal. I just cant stand stupidity. Clear and present SJW stupidity. Meanwhile CVS still sells chocolate and sugary candy products in their stores to minors and adults alike. Helping people on their path to better purpose via diabetes and obesity is A-OK though.

Yet another absurd knee-jerk reaction.

BTW, here is one of dozens of spams I received from a recently registered NAMECHEAP domain. I cant even block these because they do not come from a phone number. I get these on my cell phone as well as my google phone numbers.

People are getting cured by taking the medicine
Is that so?

[The famous] Hydroxychloroquine-COVID-19 study did not meet publishing society’s “expected standard”

https://retractionwatch.com/2020/04...t-meet-publishing-societys-expected-standard/

A later study found:
"No Evidence of Rapid Antiviral Clearance or Clinical Benefit with the Combination of Hydroxychloroquine and Azithromycin in Patients with Severe COVID-19 Infection".

https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0399077X20300858?via=ihub

And to quote Dr. Anthony Fauci of the National Institutes of Health, when asked whether the drug was considered a treatment for the novel coronavirus:
"The answer is no," he said, "and the evidence that you're talking about ... is anecdotal evidence."
https://www.npr.org/sections/corona...im-drug-can-treat-coronavirus?t=1586290392210

And to quote Dr. David Boulware, an infectious disease professor at the University of Minnesota:
"There's some suggestion that maybe it works, but there isn't any good data. If we're going to give this medicine to tens of thousands, or hundreds of thousands, or millions of people, we should know if it works."

https://www.businessinsider.com/cor...-in-hydroxychloroquine-study-2020-3?r=US&IR=T

But I'm sure your expert opinion will remain unchanged. You spent money on it after all. :cigar:

Obviously its way too early to give any commitment that this drug is working or not. 2-3 months are early to develop a vaccination. And obviously you have taken the liberty to send the link for the opposing view. Let me share my news links now :

1. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/04/01/health/hydroxychloroquine-coronavirus-malaria.html

"Coughing and fever eased a day or so earlier in the patients who received hydroxychloroquine, and pneumonia improved in 25 of 31, as opposed to 17 of 31 in the controls"

" Two patients had minor side effects from hydroxychloroquine: One had a rash and another had a headache."

This is the major reason that HCQ is given because the side effects are very mild and there is a higher probability of patients with mild symptoms getting recovered.

2. https://www.medpagetoday.com/infectiousdisease/covid19/85753

"Patients randomized to receive hydroxychloroquine with standard treatment had a significantly shorter time to body temperature recovery of about a day, as well as a significantly reduced time to cough remission of about a day versus patients receiving only standard treatment, reported Zhan Zhang, MD, of Wuhan University in China, and colleagues."

Patients in the HCQ group had a significantly shorter time to body temperature recovery versus controls (2.2 days vs 3.2 days, P=0.0008). Similar results were seen for time to cough remission for the HCQ and control groups (2.0 vs 3.1 days, P=0.0016).

Just went through links you sent me . One for : Dr. David Boulware. I followed him on Twitter . He is conducting a trial and the results will come today or tomorrow.

Then i see you have sent me a link from the website : sciencedirect.com

I also typed HCQ + COVID in the search bar and came with this link : https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1871402120300515

"Chloroquine and Hydroxychloroquine has shown some promise in treatment of COVID-19 and should be fast tracked for further research"

Two small human studies have been conducted with both these drugs in COVID-19, and have shown significant improvement in some parameters in patients with COVID-19.

We still have to do a lot of clinical tests and study or you can believe on a conspiracy theory that Trump have his financial interest. Spain , Italy , China , India are giving HCQ to patients. And of course buying domains are gambling.

I only regret not adding Coronavirus.in and coronavirus.it when I had my cart open over at Marcaria.

To be clear,

you regret not cyber squatting on more pandemic related ccTLDs?

Possibly not adhering to ccTLD residency requirements?

To be honest. I registered those domains as a placeholder really. did not really know what my plans were honestly. yea sure make money is on the list. When I see a trend I tend to impulse buy and "figure it out" later. I know it's stupid strategy but if you sit and try to figure out the "ethics" of whether you should register such domains because of

... and people wonder how/why domain investing gets a bad wrap. #smh

Haroon Basha congratulations for registering COVID-I9.COM. Man as you know, Covid -19 is the most trending topic worldwide in the last 5 months and will probably be still hot in the next generations to come!!!
Look at these numbers
Google search engine:
Covid-19
About 4,880,000,000 results (0.88 seconds)

"Covid-19"
About 4,290,000,000 results (0.80 seconds)

https://covid-19.com/ is up and running as a Covid-19 information & resources site. It doesn't even have ads on it to generate earnings!

Thank you very much for your appreciations. But the thing is I cannot sell this domain name as everyone ban covid related names.
