I wanted to create http://auctions.ai for .ai names using Sedo auction engine.
To do this, I launched an advertisement on Sedo in the name auctions.ai of and made three direct auctions for the names post.ai sapience.ai sapient.ai. I paid Sedo to create direct auctions three times for 59 euros. However, Sedo auction mechanism turned out to be inoperative. When you look at the list of bids "Bidding History", you see some nonsense. I informed the Sedo manager about this. He promised that the error would be fixed. However, for several days the error was not fixed, the auction mechanism remained inoperative. The auction now looks like a car without a wheel. It is clear that potential buyers do not want to get into a car without a wheel. Therefore, auctions do not work. In connection with this, I demand to fix the auction mechanism and after that extend my direct auctions for seven days. If Sedo cannot fix the auction mechanism and extend my direct auctions for seven days, I demand to cancel the results of my direct auctions and return to me the money I paid you for organizing direct auctions, namely three times for 59 euros.

The situation now looks as if I called a taxi and made a prepayment of 177 euros, but a car without a wheel came to me, and the company that owns a taxi cannot attach this wheel. Click on 'Bidding History' highlighted in blue, under 'Reserve not met!,' highlighted in red.

Yeah I have seen that.
I think the reserve price should be greater than the exact amout you put in the screenshot below:
even in auction their is a range reserve :xf.confused:

At a large company, the bad thing is that no one is responsible for anything, everyone is afraid to make a decision and take responsibility. A mistake that can be fixed in three minutes, they cannot fix in three days.

I am sorry to see that you had issues with the 3 Direct Auctions you recently ordered and we apologise for this. As I understand from Stephen your account manager, as a good will gesture he has agreed to refund all 3 Direct Auctions for you and he has actioned that request already.

With the greatest of respect, from time to time technical problems can happen on our website, just like any other. If there are any technical problems with our website it is not so simple as repairing it within 3 minutes as you suggest we try to repair technical issues asap but our Tech team need time to research to see who has been affected and make sure they know exactly what the error is. They fix it and test the fix, as you can appreciate that process takes longer than 3 minutes. It seems that this error only seemed to affect your listings and no one else.

You pointed out that the issue is that everyone is afraid to accept responsibility within Sedo but that is not correct, the issue is that you send several emails across different platforms to multiple people at Sedo, I have previously kindly asked you refrain from this as it only causes confusion. We have dedicated you a personal account manager Stephen Maisonet, should you have any questions about Sedo or technical problems please email him directly and refrain from emailing multiple communications to different people.

I hope you are happy with the refund and please for future, contact only Stephen Maisonet for a swift answer.

It seems to me that you should welcome public criticism, and not avoid it. The engines of development are competition and criticism. Trying to avoid public criticism and discussion of problems, you plunge into the swamp and lag behind competitors and life.
They write to me in personal correspondence that your platform is ancient and backward. Is it because you try to avoid public discussion of problems? For example, I don’t understand why you cannot remove all unregistered names from your trading platform. Is this really a difficult problem?
The Stephen Maisonet managed to remove some unregistered names, but he cannot completely solve this problem precisely because your company is a heavy, slow, and uncontrollable machine. With external escrow the potential buyer agrees to the transaction automatically and then does not know what he agreed and what he agreed with. So far I have not received a refund of 177 euros for three unworkable direct auctions from Sedo.
My failed buyer has already received the money by canceling the payment on Paypal.
I also paid for Paypal.
Paypal does not make payments to my country but makes refunds.
So Sedo should not have a problem with a refund.
I wrote to Sedo about this in the deal window, on support, and also publicly on Twitter and Facebook.

Still, the Sedo company is very strange. This morning I paid 69 euros for advertising named auctions.ai on their website. There is still no advertising, the support service is not responding. I need advertising now because I do three direct auctions on the Sedo website, but there is no advertising.

I believe that Sedo does not have the right to take money forward with such terrible mistakes in their programs. If the auction succeeds, let them withhold Euro 59 along with 15%. Otherwise, as you can understand, they did not buy the name, because there were no buyers or because of another error in the program.
