Hi all!

We’ve created this thread to make it easier to communicate with us here on Namepros, and we’ll also be posting regular updates on our offers and products. Please feel free to share any feedback and suggestions with us, or to let us know if there’s anything we can assist with.

We’d like to kick things off with an extension of our $7.99 .COM transfer sale, the code “COMTRANS4” has been extended until 23:59 PST on May 31, and there’s no limit on how many domains you can transfer using the code. Every month we have great prices on a wide selection of domains, and you can find a full list of our sales here:

https://www.dynadot.com/sales.html

We’re also excited to share that our CEO, Todd Han, will be hosting an AMA (Ask Me Anything) right here on Namepros in the near future, with more information on a date and time coming soon.

Dynadot is an ICANN accredited domain name registrar and web host headquartered in San Mateo, California. Founded in 2002 by a software engineer, our primary focus is engineering and design excellence. Our custom written, state-of-the-art domain and hosting software is stable, fast, and easy to use. From humble beginnings, we have grown steadily and now are home to over 2.6 million domains.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
So if i sold a name for $30 in Dynadot auctions,

I can withdraw $30 into my Paypal account?

Wow! Then dont disapprove, doesnt affect me

To withdraw Dynadot account balance:

I don't know what you're suggesting.

I'm sorry if this is taking this off-topic. My last post on the subject.

NameBio search results for: Contains=your + 12 letters minimum + sorted by price

My point being, I don't know how much Call to Action domains were affected by a possible 2015 domain pump and dump.

Not sure if this applies

But

KnowYourOptions.com sold for $50k (2010)

And FindYourCalling.com sold for $30k (2015)

I think $219 for KnowYourCalling was a great price for a solid domain.

Looks like I'll be watching Dynadot auctions a little closer now.

Our account managers can help you out with payouts below the minimum amount, we'd just need to ask you to contact them at [email protected] for any such requests. The limit set within our system would still be $500 however, so it wouldn't be possible to submit the request with the standard payout process unfortunately.

Yes, .com and .in
Currently there is another registrar who provides this service for way less for .com domains.

Hello @Sinbad. Is there a specific TLD you're thinking of?

The issue with sudden site maintenance is getting even worse. Today it has happened countless times. What a pity, other than this it is perfect registrar.

We appreciate your feedback and are working to decrease maintenance.

I would love if:
1) you could become .fr registrar.
2) it would be possible to push using the API or putting the account unlocked for at least 24 hours once the birth date has been entered.

Thank you, our team are always looking to expand the number ccTLDs we offer. I don't have any specific information on which ccTLDs we may be adding support for unfortunately, but we'll hopefully be able to support .FR domains in the future.

In regards to the API, we have had similar requests that have been discussed by our team and we'll be exploring the possibility of making changes to the API in order to add more compatibility with actions that would require the account to be unlocked. I'll be sure to pass the request on to allow the account to remain unlocked longer too, thank you again.

What namepros users think about the late renewal fee? So, first you brag that you have waived the redemption fee, to play like the other big players, without saying anything about charging a late renewal fee. That most be a proud move for your CEO.

The late renewal fee was introduced in April 2017 to help reduce the number of expired domain auctions cancelled by renewals, as we try to be fair to both the original registrant and our auction users.

Before the late renewal fee was introduced many auction orders were cancelled as we still offer the registrant their full grace renewal period, and some registrants would use the auction to gauge their domain's value, before renewing after the auction had closed and payment had been made by the winner. Introducing the late renewal fee helped to reduce the number of auctions cancelled by late renewals, as registrants were encouraged to renew domains before the auctions began. The late renewal fee being introduced didn't have any relation to the .com restore fees being waived.

iIt could be, but at least advertise it properly, something like: namesilo, epik and all the big players have waived all the fees, except the renewal fees, but we still like to add the late renewal fees, at least users can compare pros and cons.

Missed the AMA, so might as well ask here;

Any plans to implement payouts via ACH and/or Payoneer in the future?

I'm sorry to hear that you're thinking of moving away from Dynadot, we do appreciate your feedback and I will pass that on to the team.

I'm sorry for the more frequent instances of maintenance recently, our team are working on optimizing various aspects of our site at the moment and the maintenance periods should reduce as they are able to further optimize the site.
