Curious as to your interpretations of what we will expect as far as domain prices go in relation to all of the fiat money that is being added to the supply and added to the markets to delay hyperinflation . . .

This guy has good info about the markets
as far as to what is actually happening....

A bit schizophrenic that the economy has stopped and there is record unemployment and the markets go up!?!?!? :xf.confused:

But of course we know the reason is because trillions of dollars are being created out of thin air to add to the supply. :nailbiting:

So if a decent LLL.com is worth about $15k to $30k right now....

with money being fabricated faster than toilet paper, what will the prices of domains look like in three to five years?

$50k to $100k for a decent LLL.com, but essentially the same value as today?

money printer go brrr

I don't think there is a direct connection with inflation although there may be a relation between devaluations in Renminbi and 3L/4L .com

When the $ value becomes unstable, we'll start pricing the domains in # of rolls of toilet paper and convert the price to $ at the time of purchase.

If he knows so much, then why is he using a .net?

Forget Mannarino, his channel is a moot point...

What will domains be worth once the fiat currency settles to a buying power much less than today?

Imagine If you can buy 10 tuna cans for 1000$
And you can buy 1 domain for 1000$

Then economic crisis comes
You can buy only 7 tuna cans with 1000$
And you still buy a domain for 1000$

So your domain decreased in value because you were able to buy 10 tunas and now you can buy 7 tunas only !

I don't see hyper inflation happening any time soon. The money being pumped into circulation is just replacing what would have been there from business. It would be different if there had been no slow down in production and work and wages.

If there is inflation then the price of domains with just fluctuate with it so it will not make much difference. The only difference will be if the value of a domain rises regardless of inflation.

Kind of like the property market. If a houses value goes up 100K over 5 years due to inflation you haven't really made a profit because the value of whatever you want to buy has gone up too.

Don't trust people who give themselves fancy titles, The Robin Hood Of Wall Street.

"Whereas normal inflation is measured in terms of monthly price increases, hyperinflation is measured in terms of exponential daily increases that can approach 5 to 10% a day. Hyperinflation occurs when the inflation rate exceeds 50% for a period of a month." Investopedia

The keyword values are based on us what a domainer can sell it for. If a domainer lifts the bar then it justifies other pricing offering similar names. We justify prices using previous sales history. Hats off to anyone that can set the prices for us all.

What will happen once the 6 to 10 trillion dollars being printed out of thin air in 2020 alone is circulating?

Here is a tip for you guys. Whenever you see someone making predictions, take a look at the past predictions they made and their general pattern.
