Let's use this thread to figure out if it is worth retaining a domain. I am hopeful that senior Domainers are going to support the newbies in treading on the right path.

@Rakesh_fdo

Please see below
helodusk.com - no body will spell hello as helo
picgroove.com - it is ok, not great though.
freeudemycourse.org - sorry we do not comment on non .coms, however probably udemy is TM'ed.
pickmyoffer.com - it is ok, this could be like certified offer service, like last offer
pixelcupid.com - this is ok, plenty of pictures/graphics related site, and there is always market for this. However, if you take it literally 'cupid' - that means that you are limiting to love type icons.. So there may not be much market for this
pixkart.com - two variations, not a good idea
videocull.com - cull may be dictionary word, but not used in every day language (not many know the meaning of this, plus not sure video and cull is a good combination
shipmefoods.com - not really, foods just does not sound right here
plumberkuwait.com - geo domain, very limited market as always.

Hope it helps

Thank you,

So, I am a long time SEO and web design guy who is really new to domaining.

From what I am learning here in just a few days, I will be dropping quite a few domains from my portfolio (see here at bigdomainlist.com). The ones below seem like they might be worth holding on to. I have bolded the ones I think might be worth the most... but what do I know? Please help. Thanks for any thoughtful feedback.

These are all .coms.

a2real.com

ejoincity.com

elderbuyer.com

elderbuyers.com

emeethost.com

magimark.com

oldhimers.com

remotejobhome.com

seolightning.com

topmusictalent.com

zoomkeywords.com

These are outside the .com space

bigweb.us

seozoom.biz

steminist.io

@Lonn Dugan
Hi Lonn, thanks for reaching out. One common thing that most lack is 'business model'. If the business is not there to buy the name, then...

Below is our feedback

a2real.com - not sure what kind of business that would be. (a and 2 are not combination anyways)
ejoincity.com - not sure what kind of business that would be.
elderbuyer.com - it is a community but you have to focus on what you are selling
elderbuyers.com - it is a community but you have to focus on what you are selling
emeethost.com - almost 3 word name.
magimark.com - this is ok, rhymes well, could be trademark or other digital mark service
oldhimers.com - not sure what it means (may have dictionary meaning but not commonly used word
remotejobhome.com - three word, but the combination does fit well in that sequence
seolightning.com - not really a good combination
topmusictalent.com - though long, but still will do since music industry is big and this could be a platform for budding music talents
zoomkeywords.com - it is ok, this could be the word explorer site, developing hierarchies, hypernyms, hyponyms etc. keyword research type of business etc. But you may have to hold on on to marketing it since the word zoom these days have almost become synonymous with the video conferencing tool.

for other Non .coms. you can same guidelines. the 'bar' is much higher.

Hope it helps

Doing great job @NameFit Please share your thoughts.
Kitbucket.com
Wowsanitizer.com
Gottotal.com
Olaroom.com
Firmmark.com
Myopio.com

Thank u.

@Debasish sahoo

Sure

Kitbucket.com - do not know what it means, somehow it seems catchy, flows well, could be of any use.
Wowsanitizer.com - if you have to sell sanitizers, then 's' has to be there, otherwise it is a product brand. It is rather hard to establish a brand rather than selling sanitizers. Brand takes year to establish. If you look at the current sanitizers' brand, the word 'sanitizer' is not there.
Gottotal.com - somewhat catchy, could be a math tutoring service, course series
Olaroom.com - if you are referring to the car service, not good name, ola is / or will be TM'ed.
Firmmark.com - it is ok,any one providing corporate services, or making even reputation service, or even a product brand (that relies on durability)
Myopio.com - if it is variation of word myopia, then not really. Do not see business model.

Thank you for this nice subforum.

Im a beginner. Therefore I'm curious how you would rate my following domains. The "Nameworth.com" rating was quiet good. First one 1750 $, second one 5450 $. Of course I know that this is only an approximate clue, based on an keyword algorithm.

Awesome // Credits DOT COM

Wage // Level DOT COM

Greetings from germany, have a nice weekend

@Beijon

Sure if helps
Awesome // Credits - this is ok, this can be used in eCommerce, anywhere
Wage // Level - first it needs to be levels, even with that, not sure what business model it can fit in, it can be informational site at best.

Brandables always have market, we do not buy directly though. Thanks.

This is one (of many areas) that I struggle with, some feedback would be appreciated @NameFit

Some May renewals below coming up......

  • DarkRum.co.uk
  • ConsultingE
  • LifestylePulse.com
  • LifstyleVoice.com
Brandables below
  • Vanillaa.com
  • Maximizee.com
  • Sprinklee.com

@NickB

Sure.

  • DarkRum.co.uk - for non-.coms, you have to explore local market. We are not sure if DarkRum is popular or not. We would have said yes for DarkRum for sure. Searching for "dark rum" in google returns over 3M results, so cannot be wrong.
  • ConsultingE - even if it is .com, not sure, look at your history, if you never got an inquiry on this, at best keep it for year or two.
  • LifestylePulse.com - too long, there are tons of lifestyle sites already established.
  • LifstyleVoice.com - definitely not worth keeping
  • Vanillaa.com - Even with 3M results, very limited scope, just one flavor our of many hundred flavors, so very 'diluted'. Not sure people will name the business after that, otherwise it will give impression that they deal with one flavor only.
  • Maximizee.com - do not see many business model around word 'maximize' (except one industry). You can try to do outreach for a year, if not getting response, then..
  • Sprinklee.com - this is ok, this could be yogurt chain./ or confectionery type of business,,

should of been Lifestyle Voice - assume this would the same feedback as "pulse"

Still just lifestylevoice - this is hard. Makes it three word domain (literally). Also not sure if lifestyle and voice combination was complementary.

These brandable domains did not make my first cut for renewals. I'd appreciate feedback if you believe they are renewal worthy or not. Thanks!

Zucksy.com
Vegopolis.com
SingConnection.com
PancakeCentral.com
SpaghettiVille.com
Eggopolis.com
HandymanVille.com
Steakopolis.com
Shrimpopolis.com
MidgetSpinners.com
CellularVille.com
PlentyOfCakes.com
SmoothieConnection.com
Cupcakeopolis.com

I have a bunch more that expire a week or so later.

I highly appreciate what you are doing here, @NameFit

Is there a chance you could look at some of my names too?

They are not expiring, but I still want to learn if it makes sense to renew them or search for similar names.

Enlado.com
InspiringCannabis.com
Vitamician.com
10.works
Calm.Chat
Fast.Lease
Wategy.com
Betting.Express
Medditate.com
Unimited.com
LikeShift.com
ExpoGig.com (not sure why but I'm getting tons of views on this name on DAN)
Reseem.com
WeCosmic.com

I hope this is not too many. Any feedback will be appreciated :)

@STUART MALOFF

Sure,

Zucksy.com - this has issues, first, there is more than one way to pronounce is, can cause confusion with zuksy, zukcy, zukci, zuxi, zuxy, zooksy, zooxy, zooxi, zuxe, zooxe and may be more.
Vegopolis.com - frankly speaking, if it was vegi or vege or veggie - would have said yes. But not many go with vego.
SingConnection.com - It is ok, not great name, song would have been better.
PancakeCentral.com - too limited in scope, just on pancake, plus why would anyone go against IHOP etc.
SpaghettiVille.com - too limited, noodlecompany works, but sphagetti, not sure (first not many people can spell right). Not sure if ville is really a good name for eating place.
Eggopolis.com - Not great. Just do not see business model around around it. You have to see how many websites end with polis and see if food is one of them (true for ville also). You can check this .com here https://www.namefit.com/search.php
HandymanVille.com - you are getting into three letter word here... plus does not sound rhythmic.
Steakopolis.com - this could be ok, steak being popular, it is comparable to SteakHouse (Comparing it to eggopolis - one would not establish business on just egg, while on Steak, one would)
Shrimpopolis.com - this we are not sure about, limited scope, may be there are places who specialize in shrimp only. Not sure if it is a product brand.
MidgetSpinners.com - may be a community around this, but lacks business model
CellularVille.com - Name does not get to the level of a chain. Some local shop may buy it, but it will be a hard sell. You may have to do lot of outreach.
PlentyOfCakes.com - Yes good one, good chain/individual shop name, even will do well as product name.
SmoothieConnection.com - this is fine, smoothie/health related names are always in demand.
Cupcakeopolis.com - you are getting into three words here. Plus too many syllables.

Best.
