DOMAIN TESTIMONY

Hello - I have made my first domain name sale today through Godaddy.

I bought Repentance.net for $20 on December 17 - GD Closeout. Today it sold for $1300 - April 26th.

There was no negotiation. The offer came in through my Efty Landing page. I accepted the offer.

I had it listed for $7000 on Godaddy, $3249 on Afternic - Im not sure what my reasons for having it priced like that but I'm sure I had a reason at the time.

I changed the price through Godaddy, it took about 12hrs to update.

I know this is the beginning but Id figure id share because this might be the motivation someone needs. I remember going through a lot of threads trying to crack the code of selling a domain. I don't think there was a code, it was a continuous want to research about domains, just being patient, trial & error, right buyer/right time, a lot of unknown factors, I may just be lucky, I don't know. I am just blessed to have made a sale. If you haven't sold a domain yet, it is possible. Thank you! I appreciate you.

Also, if you have any questions or feedback about the sale is appreciated or not. Thanks. Have a good one. Thanks.

Congrats on your first sale. I think it was at a good price, fair to both buyer and seller.

I'm a little confused that you said the offer came through Efty but you say it is sold through GoDaddy. Do you mean, I think, they offered that price in an Efty communication, you changed the GoDaddy price to that, them they went there to buy?

Best wishes for many more sales. How many domain names do you currently hold?

Bob

Congrats on your first sale .. always the hardest .. and most cherished! Given it's a .net and your purchase price, I think both buyer and seller won on this one! :)

Nice sale, @Tey! It's always satisfying to have a fast turnaround like that. I agree with you that there's no code to crack, just hard work and perseverance.

Wishing you many more.

Thank you @Bob Hawkes My post was a tad bit confusing. Sorry about confusion. I want to say I am not the best writer, as you can see. I received an Inquiry for 1300$ through my Efty Landing Page. Then when I agreed to the price that was offered, they wanted to purchase the domain through Godaddy so I changed price from $7000 to 1300 & the sale was made.

Congratulations. Thank you for sharing the information about your sale.

Just curious, you mentioned that the $1300 offer came through Efty. How did you have it listed on Efty? Landing page? Make An Offer, Make An Offer with Buy It Now?
