I'll recommend adding it to the header menu.

hi there.. you recenlty said elsehwere that your working on it and getting close..

do you have estimated rollout date or month for this ignore thread feature I am dying to see implemented.. but hope not to die before I see it implemented (jk).

We don't have an estimate at the moment, but it's in the top 3 of our "nice to have" list as soon as we get through the "must do" list.

Blocking people will stop their threads from displaying in new posts?
Is there a limit to number of people person can block?

Ignoring people will, yes.

We haven't heard about a limit on it, but if one does exist, it'd likely be around 2,000 members on your Ignore list, similar to the Following list limit. @Paul Buonopane may be able to provide a more exact answer.

This would be awesome! I would rather not ignore a user on a wholesale basis...but if they are bumping a name that is useless to me or involved in a rant/thread I choose not to donate any of my limited time to, it would be nice to remove/hide it.

It's been 20 months since the quoted update.

Was this idea scrapped?

Too bad, as this feature would have been awesome, and a lot of us were looking forward to it.

This feature will exist one day.

It moved down the priority list a little bit, but it's not going anywhere.

We know many members would like this feature.

Bumping this up cause mods linked to it from one of @alcy other threads. Hope i am not on ignore alcy. its been 5 years since requested, @lennco sorry bro, your ignored. Its only way for me to not see the political thread.

Shortly after the upgrade of our forum software is completed. It's a big undertaking because NamePros has a lot of customizations, but once it's upgraded, we'll all start to see new features appearing quickly after members request them.
