Having relatives and friends scattered all over the globe, I am getting an overload of input (some on the record and some off the record).

My intention for this thread is for community members from around the world to post first hand stories and/or links to information sources that, for the most part, should be reliable.

In my community, just outside a major southeastern city, 'assets' have been placed. Only because I have friends in both high and low places have I heard about some of this. At this point it is only some basic medical supplies that should be equally distributed anyway in preparation for a natural emergency (hurricane/wildfire/etc.).

I will start with posting a link to a site with current data that seems to come from an aggregate of sources and hope others will do the same as they come across similar sites/pages.

Because of the 'typhoid Mary' spread-ability of this disease, I feel we may be in for a really large spread globally which will impact the global economy and through extension, retail domain prices.

One thing is for sure...things will get worse before they get better.

Chinese researchers detect Coronavirus in air samples up to 13 feet from patients

It should be noted that the team of scientists looked at the so-called aerosol transmission when the Coronavirus droplets are so fine that they become suspended and remain airborne for several hours. But in terms of cough or sneeze droplets, these fall to the ground within seconds. The Beijing researchers said that as per their investigation the virus-laden aerosols were concentrated near and downstream from patients at up to 13 feet, while smaller quantities were found upstream, up to eight feet.

However, the scientists clarified that none of the employees of the hospital was infected by the COVID-19 which indicates that appropriate precautions could effectively prevent the disease transmission. They also mentioned that as per their findings home isolation of persons with suspected Coronavirus might not be a good control strategy, given the levels of environmental contamination.

I know this has been mentioned before, but the clowns at WHO should be held criminally liable for not acting properly and quickly. Taiwan has released the full text of their communication in December after WHO denied getting anything 'concrete'. Pull US funding of WHO now.

85% of what i have seen are white males, In the age range of 23 to 33 , Other states is possibility i guess, as far as what you posted about San Antonio Texas, A lot of those Homeless people living in cars are Illegal Immigrants i was told today, From Mexico.

I guess 8 feet is immediately after sneezing and that it would settle on floor soon.

But, this may mean, we all will get it and develop heard immunity.

It is looking more that way, If this virus weren't made in lab in Wuhan China i don't think it would be acting like it is, Herd immunity may be what it all comes down to, but then they are saying it reinfects as well, so

So lets see what i covered above,

Despite a 6 week full country of Italy lock down quarantine, Italy is not getting much better.

A mask might not be enough to stop the virus because it may be in the airborne

Do you people see the Doom and Gloom pattern that media reports? you can't turn right, you can't turn left, you can't back up. but not one damn positive thing, not one. If you take in just what i posted in media bullshit today, you will feel there is absolutely no hope, none at all, we are all doomed, which is totally bullshit and don't believe it, they are trying to take your nerves to a breaking point, don't let them do it, because we see it obviously is not all doom and gloom with our own eyes. keep your eyes open.

We are becoming acquainted with the virus pretty rapidly, I ask you folks, how many people do you know that has COVID-19? How many of you folks know somebody that knows somebody that has COVID-19 , I know of one case, My friends cousin, who passed away in Louisiana

The media is driving fear as hard as they can, like i said above, If you just take the media news i posted today alone, your nerves will go to the very edge, as those media news articles completely slam the door on any hope for us, completely, which is totally wrong as you guys know, because we can see that everyone is not falling dead, everyone isn't catching COVID-19 , obviously not, we are all here talking about COVID-19. well just as we predicted as would any logical person in the world, canadians and other countries are starting to receive calls on their suicide help phone lines, of various people and business owners with no more incomes, talking about comiting suicide.

unless govnts have another plan behind the virus, and virus is just smokescreen for it, then no govnt will assume this "Solution" to the virus is going to be better than the problem itself.

hence, as trump said and many here too... the remedy is definitely worse than the problem.
