Having relatives and friends scattered all over the globe, I am getting an overload of input (some on the record and some off the record).

My intention for this thread is for community members from around the world to post first hand stories and/or links to information sources that, for the most part, should be reliable.

In my community, just outside a major southeastern city, 'assets' have been placed. Only because I have friends in both high and low places have I heard about some of this. At this point it is only some basic medical supplies that should be equally distributed anyway in preparation for a natural emergency (hurricane/wildfire/etc.).

I will start with posting a link to a site with current data that seems to come from an aggregate of sources and hope others will do the same as they come across similar sites/pages.

Because of the 'typhoid Mary' spread-ability of this disease, I feel we may be in for a really large spread globally which will impact the global economy and through extension, retail domain prices.

One thing is for sure...things will get worse before they get better.

Coronavirus May ‘Reactivate’ in Cured Patients, Korean CDC Says

The coronavirus may be “reactivating” in people who have been cured of the illness, according to Korea’s Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

About 51 patients classed as having been cured in South Korea have tested positive again, the CDC said in a briefing on Monday. Rather than being infected again, the virus may have been reactivated in these people, given they tested positive again shortly after being released from quarantine, said Jeong Eun-kyeong, director-general of the Korean CDC.

Scientists say coronavirus won't end with warmer weather while US plans for life under a new normal
https://www.cnn.com/2020/04/09/health/us-coronavirus-thursday/index.html

On Tuesday, the IHME estimated about 82,000 people will die from coronavirus disease by August. On Wednesday, that estimate was lowered to 60,415

So in one day they trimmed total estimated deaths from 82,000 to 60,415 ? so some 22,000 people are going to get to live that otherwise wouldn't have, in a 24hr period projection. but how? if the warm or hot weather wont kill the virus, then wouldn't that mean that an actual death-o-meter estimate might not be able to be attained?

I urge those of you who can get out and drive, to go to your hospitals in area and see if your hospitals resemble anything of a war zone, i also urge all of you to go to youtube and put
#FilmYourHospital into the search box and watch some actual live video of how empty and relaxed the hospitals are in New York, California and all over the rest of the USA,

what is going on?, why?, I actually have no idea, you be the judge from live video feeds and maybe all of us together can make some sense out of what we actually see.

I drove to 4 hospitals today, a 425 bed hospital in Carrollton Texas, there were four cars in the Emergency parking area, there were 4 cars. No ambulances, no people waiting, some hospital personal were standing beside the building, they appeared to be eating food.

the next hospital , Mckinney Texas, a 500 bed, there were 7 cars in the ER parking lot, no ambulances, no people were waiting.

I went to a very large one in Dallas Texas, 13 cars were parked in the ER parking, there was a few people outside sitting on car shooting the shit I guess.

all the hospitals were very uneventful.

so I went to a drive through testing place, there were no cars there, no one except a few medical personal all gussied up in full dress gear waiting on coronavirus patients I guess.

I felt I had seen enough with my eyes to not go visit any other hospital looking for warzone like conditions that are so spoke of by the media.

if anyone can confirm reports of national guard loading bodies in New York as reported , that would be much appreciated

seeing in person is believing, I went, I saw

I would say the verbiage of believe nothing you hear and only 50% of what you see would apply

So the question is, is there really a coronavirus? I think Yes, there is a virus of some kind, but there are always viruses of some kind that people get, Influenza, stomach virus, common colds and ect, apparently Flu season is mostly over because the hospitals I visited day were almost empty.

Are the hospitals at max capacity and warzone presence is taking place at hospitals due to coronavirus ? What I saw today + all the videos of independent reporters that are conducting #filmyourhospital on Twitter and YouTube videos , show this is simply not true, seeing is believing.

is all this world pandemic a hoax?? Not exactly IMO, a hoax would mean that no virus exist, so we know viruses exist and they always have, the question is, how many of these people that are dying have a coronavirus? Deaths are recorded daily year after year, death is a part of life , so if the media were to turn all their attention to filming hospitals daily, you would likely see a lot of sick people broadcast laying in beds with all sorts of different illnesses, the media can make as horrid or as clean they would want to, it would all depend on what their agenda for the news is.

so with all the facts I know and have seen with my own two eyes. there is some illness as there always is , some perhaps from a coronavirus , the media shows warzone type video daily of a coronavirus pandemic, video from average people shows different, there is no warzone type atmosphere around hospitals. Actually video footage from average people shows very uneventful hospitals right now. Like I said, Flu season appears to have passed for this year, so Emergency rooms appear to be getting a break from the high activity of influenza now.

and then on top of it all, Hospitals are actually laying workers off. All hands on deck huh for this crisis warzone pandemic huh

ANY video footage from New York or California showing warzone like conditions , bodies being removed by the national guard as reported today, any regular citizen video of any of these events by a NPs member would be very much appreciated. The video uploaded by citizens in regard to warzone like conditions in New York and California , do not exist from the video footage shot from late March until this day.

for those that dispute these findings, or think some kind of conspiracy theory shit is going on, Prove Me Wrong, I am all eyes and ears for you

So just now on the radio, I am driving , they are talking about converting hotels into hospitals, saying the army corps of engineers will do the conversions , the Miami convention center and ect. Wouldn’t you first fill up the hospitals first ????? The hospitals are not even full , Dallas county hospital district reports 743 beds available, 720 ventilators available right now, that is just Dallas County alone

can you drive to your local hospital??? If so , you probably should do that, if you are able to drive further, drive to a few hospitals where you live, come back and tell me how warzoned out they are, I think you will be very shocked at what you “don’t “ see happening

I don't have to drive to get first hand reporting of situations...my neighbor is a nurse at a hospital in the county I am in. My niece is a speech pathologist in another county's hospital working with people coming off of ventilators and my nephew in law is a surgeon. The counties neighbor each other...one county has 63 covid patients and the other county has 690.

Right now NY and NJ areas are the ones that are in bad shape...that type of activity will likely not be repeated anywhere else in America due to the extreme density of humans in those metros. However cities with dense inner areas will have some rough times...LA, Atlanta, Chicago, etc.

Can you find a hospital where they are still sitting in the break room playing chess? Sure. Will there be some that will not see any Covid19 patients? Probably. Those are the hospitals people hope they and/or their loved ones go to in the event they become infected.

My next-door neighbor, who's a nurse here in the Kansas City area, was home with the virus for several days. A friend lost a family member to the virus and knows someone else on a ventilator. So the virus is here even though cases haven't spiked yet.

It's likely we won't be hit as hard here since we started a lockdown before the virus had taken hold. Also, the hospitals have had more time to find supplies and get systems in place before the onslaught occurs.

I invite you to go to YouTube or twitter and watch video of some of the biggest hospitals in New York and New Jersey , these hospitals are being videoed daily, you will also be able to view the “Empty” pop up tent hospitals that have been put up.

Raw video by citizens doesn’t lie

Well, I will invite you to go to those same sites and view videos of alien abductions, big foot eating a pizza and videos that 'prove' the holocaust didn't happen.

Don't base your life decisions on the 'information' on those sites.

As I said above, many hospitals may not see a single case of covid. FYI, I've spent the last many days assisting an old friend with overseeing the conversion of a local college dorm into a 3,000 bed hospital. Don't buy in to too much propaganda from either viewpoint on this issue.

You keep falling for this bs. You and some others in this thread. People dying isn't fake.

https://www.thedailybeast.com/natur...ry-of-coronavirus-truther-assholes?ref=scroll

no no, people are dying JB, the virus that causes people to be fine , then puts them on a ventilator is real, but what you are being fed by the media is a lie, the number of cases, the number of deaths , the high drama video shows, that is what I am saying. The virus is real, doctors are beside themselves the way that a person can have it, but be doing ok and then go critical within hours, but the dramatization by the media is false . IMO

the main site is twitter, people are doing nothing but going to these so called hot spot hospitals and video taping what is exactly going on at the hospital , nothing more, nothing less, and to this minute, I have yet to see anything of a warzone type environment taking place, these hospitals are actually very uneventful

That's a good graph, from what I can see, the average lifespan of each strain is about 1 month before it morphs. If those strains were isolated, they too would pass.

Agreed...I am hoping mother nature lends humanity a hand on this bug and it branches itself off into obscurity.

the media is now reporting that numbers are dropping, what onslaught are we expecting?

It's an arms race, and we will survive as we have done through the last thousands of years. Our immune system just needs to find its way to first recognise, identify, memorise and defeat the virus.

The number of new cases in New York is dropping, but 2,000 Americans are dying every day, nearly half a million have been infected (that we know of), and several million are expected to contract the virus. That's a lot of people who will need hospital care.

Numbers are dropping because of the strict isolation measures. The pandemic deniers do no favor, and a big disrespect, to the humanity and to all the coronavirus victims.
