I tried to list a domain i bought recently that already BB approved and been listed before at BB ,
but i got this message :

( Invalid - This name already exists in our system under a different account.
If you are the current owner, please contact
our support team to have it reassigned to you. )

i sent email to BB team since one week asking them to move the domain under my a/c
as i am the new owner of the domain but no reply till now !!!

is it taking long time ? is that normal ? has anybody faced the same issue before and know the right steps or solutions ??

Sounds like rookie mistake by previous seller; who didnt email BB. BB bein BB, slow to reply. You need seller email them β€œ authorize transfer to (whatever your BB acc name) then BB email to confirm; which case; you simply reply β€œyes”

Often sellers drop a bb name and don't necessarily sell it. I've done this twice, both times eventually I got around to informing BB so I wasn't penalized. One doesn't need to state β€œI authorize change owner to new BB name” unless you sell the name. As for them getting back to you, they are backed up it seems, so not unusual it would take a week or more!

i reminded the seller , the seller informed them by email that the doman sold to me and i was CC in the email , they replied next day: We will begin the transfer as soon as the new owner confirms the sale .
since i am CC in email so i replied to the same email that i confirm i am the new owner of the domain and my a/c name so and so . it was at 9 of april and till today nothing added !!
is that normal !!!!?

Did you click "reply all" to the email, instead of "reply"?

Make sure you email back all parties if you click "reply" you just email the prev. seller

had prev. owner tell me "You didnt hit reply all"

it was replied all 100% , to someone called roxana and the seller CC

maybe julia was fresh and awake working ( morning duty ) and my roxana snoring at night duty !
