The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
No, let these names go. Spend a few months reading this forum to get an idea of what sells.

Always ask yourserlf when buying a name "What type of company could use this domain?"

Check out namebio.com and DNJournal.com to see recent sales

Good luck

I would also suggest dropping these names, research the forum for tips on purchasing domains.

You should of seen my portfolio when I first started.

I did not make my first sale until a year in -- and I registered a lot of names I eventually let go.
My first sale was 12$

Knowledge is power in this industry.

Conduct a trend analysis with the free resources that are provided to you by NameBio.com
Nobody can explain to you why "SaltAndPepperHomes.com" sells for 28.8k
Market demand will always surprise investor reasoning.

As an investor -- you do not go for what just sounds good. You go for what sells and has math to support the acquisition. Great investors in this industry do not just get lucky -- they make educated investments.
Instead of throwing darts at the board at random and blindfolded -- information and analysis separates that crowd with the crowd that takes the blindfold off and has a fair chance at making some sales.

Do not go for outliers -- go for what is notable and consistent.
One/Two word .COM/.NET/ that are in common language and mean something is a good place to start.

Example of names I hand-reg'd this month.

((Never reg with hyphens -- unless it's absolutely and utterly worth the acquisition))

((Apologize for the heavy .NET listing -- I typically invest in .COM/.NET only))

PC-Soft.net
e-Portal.net
Torched.net
Boomed.net
Conjured.net
Ocarinas.net

Example of my closeouts this month:

LocalAreaNet.com
Spaniard.net
Search-Engine.net

These names eclipse my former portfolio in both quality and demand. I see decent page views on each of the names that are listed above in my multiple marketplace listings.

I appreciate your take and willingness to learn in this industry! That kind of attitude will see success here! And I can not wait to see your name up there with some good sales referenced.

Best of luck to you! Keep on staying strong in this industry.

My Grammarly extension did not call my grammar out in regards to that post haha.
I'm glad you were there for the save, haha.

Unfortunately it is not allowing the edit.

@Mod Team Bravo
Is there any way I can edit this travesty?

It's alway easy to buy names that seem marketable for profit, we have all done that and, learned that the domain name marketplace can be a difficult marketplace in which to make a profit.

This is a great Forum filled with threads and post boasting success and a few that discuss failure. You can learn from both.

It is important to read through the Forum as others have advised and learn " what names have sold " as a possible prognosticator as to what names might sell some day.

mysqldb is nice as long as it's not tm but the other ones, are a bit far out for general audience to expect much inbound.action. Id stick to names that click on both meaning and sound, dont get caught up in patterns and other stuff u dont understand at first. If you have a business in mind u would use a generic name for then im sure others will as well.

and rule 1 - .com .com .com .com .com .net .org
