domain How much is victor.gg worth?

Dont waste your money on .GG names. What did you have in mind for the domain? develop? resell?

Focus on extensions that sell if thats what you had in mind for it.

Thanks for reply, as I do the research, .gg now usually stands for good game or great game,

seems become more and more popular in gaming and gamble related industrial.

Such as champion.gg、runeforge.gg、dak.gg and gamepress. gg.

They are all gaming related. I got this reference from "domaintyper.com"



So I though it might be a investment in earlier stage.

Then I found this auction on "docky.ly".

Any thought on it ?

Thanks, Ive seen that thread, I still think 132 "recorded" sales since 2011 is not a good sign. I know there would be some private sales too but that wont be many. If you also check the better sales in this extension (x,xxx+ range) most of them are L.gg, LL.gg, N.gg etc, a lot different to the quality of names being regged in the .GG thread.

Just my opinion though, I do wish the OP luck with future sales.

You're absolutely correct when viewing it from an historical perspective.

However eSports and gaming is growing fast and is forecasted to be the #1 market by 2024. That may even happen sooner now due to the recent pandemic and how gaming is well suited to quarantine.

Gamers and the startups in this niche are highly fond of .gg.

For such domains the problem is not the initial one-time cost. It's the renewal.

If you are a beginner in domaining in general (and not just in .gg) then you might make the mistake of acquiring the domain without a clear target to sell it to which means that, if it doesn't sell within a year, you'll eventually come to the point of asking yourself: "how long can I pay $50-$60 renewals for just that one domain?"
