question Domain marketplace without weekends

As far as I know only Epik process escrow / marketplace transaction on weekends while other marketplaces like Sedo, Afternic, Dan all are off.

probably I should to deal through Epik. Thank you. I bring the buyer to Dan paid on 3 April, their chat bot not working properly. support probably on the vacation or weekend

True story -- about as close to 24/7 as exists in the industry at present.

Banks are closed on weekends but credit card, paypal, and crypto all work outside of M-F 9-to-5.

That is a big advantage. A few years ago I had a client who was trying to complete a transaction on a weekend, I told them Sedo not open, he told me to go F myself, though I did not want Sedo closed and he handregged a name instead of buying the name I found for him on Sedo for $5,000.

Oh I know Rob, Epik is the fastest transaction I ever had, the money was in my account while I was getting another email from someone else trying to buy the name on Sedo.

Makes me believe that he was not much serious on buying your name.

@Rob Monster - I know you are good in negotiating. How would u handle such prospect (with the particular Marketplace being closed for weekend)?

Two solutions:

1. Sedo MLS transactions run 24/7 so the transaction could have been cleared that way.

2. We have tools for finding the actual owner, even if there is WHOIS privacy. If it was imperative to get to the owner, there are ways.

However, indeed, no way a $5K deal should be missed due to the the weekend.

I am watching the news unfold about Wirecard, and think more than ever it is important to help folks close deals quickly, and to be responsive in helping folks to put funds to work.

There are plenty of capable and trustworthy people who want work, or need work. We hire them everywhere --not just in big western cities. As such, there is really no excuse for not being 24/7.
