Epik wins the Namepros 2020 Best registrar As I have stated before this year’s poll was pretty contentious for the first time the poll was public. This allowed for everyone to see who voted in the interest of transparency. The number of votes this year was almost identical to last year. 914 members voted this […]

Congrats, I disagreed with Epik for allowing coronavirus domains on their platform, but to be fair to Rob he always trys to explain his way of thinking, always there to help people on this forum no matter who they are and gives great advice.

FWIW while I don't think it's right to profiteer from coronavirus names I also dont think it's right for a registrar to censor what domains someone can register. IMO both are equally as bad. One of the many things I like about Epik is they support free speech and dont censor even if it's not popular, it's nice to see they won't let themselves get bullied into censorship.

But to get back on topic glad to see an Epik win! While I agree there are other registrars who are just as capable and useful as a registrar for domainers I see Epik as not only that but so much more. I love the innovation and can't wait wait to see what they'll do next.

I really have no issue with a private aftermarket choosing what domains to allow.

I do have an issue with registrars actually blocking registrations though.

Registrars should simply be a middle man between the customer and registry to allow registrations.
If the domain is available at the registry level, the registrar has no business restricting it IMO.

Huge congrats to Epik and Rob Monster. I just moved my entire portfolio to their service from Uniregistry. Let's hope they never sell-out and continue to cater to domainers but also grow enough to make RM one rich bastard. Best of luck.
