Joking.com created in 1997, over 23 years old. The domain name is currently registered under Name privacy. Joking.com does not resolve."

NB says Joker sold Sedo for $5,750 3/10/2020

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Maybe they are hoping for no response to udrp. Thus, win —See: xtream.com.

xtream.com hit udrp after sold 26K NC auction.

feel someone's mad lost on Sedo for $5K; so they filed udrp.hope result isnt same as xtream

You are referencing 2 different domains. Joking might have sold but you said joker sold. Not remotely the same.

thank God the mistake wasnt in the title,

i made tiny typo in one sentence :)

I wish you tad earlier, >.< cant edit
Thanks for the headsup, i blame myself,
read the comment in Elliot’s article

So the previous owner sold it on an auction just to avoid the UDRP?

It may have not sold at all.

Check the five comments under Elliot’s article.

Some guy pointed out; Whois didnt change.

My theory; it’s some salty loser who lost #2
in the Sedo auction, since didnt have $5750.

But they have $1500 to file a UDRP! Classic...

UPDATE: Former owner will get domain back through UDRP challenge.

A National Arbitration Forum panel has ordered the domain name Joking(.)com be transferred back to its previous owner.

A man who said he’s owned the domain name since 1997 filed a cybersquatting dispute under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) to get it back.
He said the domain name was stolen earlier this year and then the thief tried to sell it.

A look at historical screenshots for the domain shows that the site was developed for a long time, and sometimes showed adult content.

The alleged thief, who resides in Russia, did not respond to the dispute.
