Need a quick help.

We have an internal dispute at Epik about logo selection for NameLiquidate.com. The boys can't seem to work out amongst themselves and so I get to break the tie with a 24 hour poll. Thanks!

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
#1 without a doubt. Noticed you're already using it as a favicon :). Maybe work a bit on the logotype but overall it does the job.

#1. I don't like the extended "m" in the second one.

come on, that is funny but give the guy a break.

He is looking for opinions on the logo's and because of the thread content it will have a promotional element to it......maybe it can be moved to another part of Namepros to make you happy?

Brad

I tend to agree there.

The metaphor was pumping something from a low place and elevating to a higher place.

I was watching several Epik execs -- whose opinions I value -- have a schism over this topic. I figured better to let the crowd decide. It is co-creation, plain and simple.

#1 Love that shade of blue, Rob, very striking.

Anyone internally who picked 2 is probably a GoDaddy plant that is trying to sabotage your business from the inside, I'd keep a close eye on them.

#1 is ok, but boring, looks like a stock logo.
#2 is more interesting, has more personality.

I pick #2.

Actually, it was not scripted. Just FYI, this is how it went down:

Democracy at work.

Ultimately, it is a questions of Agree or Disagree but Commit. In this case, we had 2 folks with strong views and I just decided to consult the crowd. Glad I did since I was leaning towards #2.

Here's #1 in context:

On #2 you should use the circle part on liquidate, I think that would make it better. #1 is simple, but fine.

I like #1, and voted that way, but I do prefer the colour of number 2.

Definitely avoid #1 as there are too many similar existing ones and one exactly the same on the net already...some examples from web below.

What companies? never heard of them
Stock logos, nothing special there..anyone can use them by purchasing the rights. Would have been better to make one from scratch, brainstorm ideas so that it's urs only. Not available to public.

Liked and voted #1 looks very Elegant and good for a top brand.

The metaphor was pumping something from a low place and elevating to a higher place.

Good thinking and creativity but the m letter in #2 looks not soo good while the up arrow looks good and so do color combo for #2 looks awesome.

But #1 logo kills it.It shows quality, professional and great branding so I would go with #1.

for sure but make the logo N look like it has an L too, reverse the bottom line as well to look like it has an L shape. have the little line go inward and outward

uc?

Think about the concept

There is a need for the concept you are obviously going to create

Too many domain name investors are stuck with portfolios and have run out of cash and they cant find a domain name broker that will sell one or too domains in their portfolio even for $250 a domain just to put some liquidity in to portfolios etc

The ways of doing that is either by having the largest amount of brokers that are prepared to sell average domains for lower commission etc

Or like buying a car where a person can use a domain as part exchange or like the housebuyers where they can buy a persons house but at say 75% of market value

Or

And this option is really needed in the domain industry

Domain pawnbrokers

That can offer fast instant cash on any domain sameday

The liquidators
