This morning I tried to log into my dynadot account and it shows a maintenance page instead of the usual login page .... never got any notice or and headsup whatsoever ... this is like That for several hours ... what is going on here .. do they not feel they have to give notice anymore .. what kind of Business are People Running nowadays ....? How long will it take ... there is no way to contact anyone there ... this is not good at all

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
i run maintenance now and then
i guess they need it
but at same i only ever see them do this.. among 15 registrars i deal with
which is .. odd.

usualy it doesn't last long but still

how long has it been?

i like dyna and have most nams there now.. but.. there is always alternatives.

ps they do have phone. never had issue reaching them there.

yeah.. i mean sometimes we just gotta login.. i dunno things happen... sometimes we got a sale.. we need to push domain to buyer... the buyer gives us 1 hour... stuff happens!

or... I like to renew or transfer my names last minute aftr expiry... and sometimes it can hit that max 38 days during maintenance... meaning its still tranasferable before maintenance begins... then 3 hours later.. its past the deadline..... i mean things happen.. so a note about maintenance would be nice.. if it takes say more than 1 hour..

Usually they are only down for 30 seconds to a few minutes, maybe working from home can cause technical issues to not be repaired as quickly. They are a decent company, they should be back up shortly, they are based in CA, and it’s still 7AM out there, but having clients all over the World, I am sure they understand how important uptime is.

The Dynadot site is up again for me and I can log in and manage my names.

i have some 1000 names there. so most my names.
it takes 1 minute to load the domain manager each time.
I emailed them about it. was improved.
now problem seems back.

i think im going to start moving names away from there. 1000 isn't the greatest folio in the world. so I can only imagine how unusable things are for other domainers with more names.

i think speed and flow of the interface has always been an issue on dyna. it just becomes clear and obvious and literally unusable, after a certain # domains there.

We are sorry for the downtime, the maintenance period was unexpected and unfortunately did take much longer than our maintenance usually would. We do try to keep downtime as a result of maintenance to a minimum, and for any planned, significant maintenance periods we would send out notice but it was necessary to take the site down in this instance unfortunately.

We're back up and running now and all site and account features are functioning as usual.
