Yes, one of the cons. Hence a dedicated dark theme would be appreciated.

yes i also think the prev one better.
this basically manages space less efficiently.
and even before there was already crowding issue cause np is just so full of info everywhere.

Or we could roll back to when they were $70 for 2 years or further back to when they were free, although had to show why it should belong to you.

If we were to roll back to very beginning, I would make the first domain registered Bob so people would always say with every word possible, why was Bob the first one registered?

But being on topic, in 2004 NamePros to me looked pretty elegant for that time.

This is a lot of work for an april fools day gag.

I think it's the real deal.

I have been noticing hints of big changes for a while.

I think this new look will be fine tuned and more new functionality will be unveiled.

So fun.

I had a browser window open with the (now) old version. Thought I would do a screen capture.

It is the new theme and it is for April Fools I think. Old theme from 2004.

yes.. aprils fools.. in fact if you press zoom option in chrome 1000 times (has to be 1000 times)... then you will see encoded into this border in tiny letters the word "gotcha!"
in the upper left corner of the border.

I'm quite indecisive about the new design vs the old.
As long as the content stays just as good or better, I'm golden.

I hope it's a joke.

Eventually I think it's a right decision, just my opinion, I think Blue is a color that used to be used for technology products in past 10-15 years, but now it seems a little old-fashioned, for NP is turning old-old fashion to become new fashion, back again! which fashion industry always does over and over again. In 2020 purple seems more techie in tech industry, Godaddy using purple as well.
