I believe only short and easy-to-remember domain names are sustainable, regardless of where in the world you live and which cultural background you come from.

Now that the Chinese domain market has become a hot topic, I myself want to understand this trend too. Is there any real meaning behind each domain name sold in China? Here, I'd like to share with you what I've found as I read the Chinese news everyday.

GZX.com
GZX can stand for 更自信 (even more self-confident) which can be used in many fields such as education, self-help, and even consumer products to raise your self image.

XLY.com
XLY can stand for 夏令营 (summer camp) or 新领域 (new field) which can be used in recreation and high-tech products.

I learned that KC--->科创 i.e Science and Technology (Kē chuàng)

Lots of companies use this in their name. KC ending make sense for a tech company?
Your conclusion is very correct.

KC used to be very common in Chinese company names, but that is gone. It used to be a 'synonym' for 3C, and companies using KC were more hardware sales companies.

But the situation is different now, it is easy to associate, 'PlayPinYin' is the status quo of the Chinese Internet, and more ambitious companies are pursuing 'keywords english or PinYin'.

No No No, it's not gone yet, because my nickname is still "KC" Ha ha!

I mean, the Internet in China has entered a new stage. The domain names used to be mainly corporate websites,B2B. and now the Internet is more 2C, which is directly accessible to consumers.

It's hard to imagine now that the homepage of an e-commerce website or a listed company would use 'TMALLKC' or 'LUKC'.

I havent any pinyin domain.
The Internet is a tool, not an industry, in China. From a policy perspective, the establishment of the root server and real-name authentication determine that there is no widespread market demand for large transactions of .COM.
The head effect of the Chinese market is very obvious: most of the traffic belongs to very few manufacturers. At the same time, the number of users in China determines that the domestic market is completely sufficient for a company to obtain rich profits.
Therefore, most of the Internet is only in the domestic market and there are no plans to expand overseas. Such companies often do not have sufficient budget to upgrade domain names.

Sorry, it's meant to be a joke only. That's why I added "Ha ha" at the end.

I'm sorry to make you feel unwell, and of course I understand what it means and didnt bring in any emotional factors... I just want to explain further why I came to the conclusion that KC has gone.

I don't understand what you mean. It seems your discussion has veered off course.
And, if you want to 'values propaganda‘,please PM. published here with ' ETHNIC FLAVOR ' point of view doesn't make any sense.

Yes. I just lost the plot for a moment.
Ref "ethnic flavor" not important just seemed like your well versed in cultural knowledge.
Ref ' Therefore, most of the Internet is only in the domestic market" IMO eventually China plc will follow the Google (adword) cash cow model the China centric markets will become far more competitive.
The DCEP [Digital Currency Electronic Payment] will be a game changer in the home and international markets with many more stalls in the markets.

@Kassey Lee

Did more research on why Nijigen.cn is taken, relative to me owning Nijigen.com. There appears to be some significance with Anime, Comics and Games (ACG) fans in China as it's represents that niche.

https://zh.moegirl.org/二次元

It's even being used in China market products targeting people who show a keen interest (hardcore ACG fans) in China who grew up in the late 90's- 2000s i.e people in their 20s to 30s. There are over 300 million "Nijigen" in China.

I'm the worst domain appraiser in the world so I don't do domain appraisal. However, there are many experts here on NP who seem to know the values. Having said that, I do own many 4C domains myself. I check 4C sales everyday using https://shortnames.com/cccc/sales#6KuK

General Research: I am interested in games / esports and take chances when reg pinyin generics especially when a generic is unregistered in the .com prefix.
Surprised to find
LanqiuYouxi - SaimaYouxi - PinpangYouxi available as Baibu is more competitive.
Have I made not understood something here? If I have its part of the learning curve ...

篮球游戏 (Lan Qiu You Xi) is a common term, which can be found in Baidu search. I don't have time to check the others. Personally, I don't invest in Pinyin domains so I don't have a lot to say about this category.

Thanks Kassey, It does surprise me that you do not take advantage of your linguistics.
Basketball ping pong as your aware is huge in China. I know what the translations mean just surprised they were available. Sorry for the typo should be PingPangYouxi

Thanks Kassey, It does surprise me that you do not take advantage of your linguistics.
The reason is simple: I want to sell to the entire world including China but most Pinyin domains are limited to China only.
