Having relatives and friends scattered all over the globe, I am getting an overload of input (some on the record and some off the record).

My intention for this thread is for community members from around the world to post first hand stories and/or links to information sources that, for the most part, should be reliable.

In my community, just outside a major southeastern city, 'assets' have been placed. Only because I have friends in both high and low places have I heard about some of this. At this point it is only some basic medical supplies that should be equally distributed anyway in preparation for a natural emergency (hurricane/wildfire/etc.).

I will start with posting a link to a site with current data that seems to come from an aggregate of sources and hope others will do the same as they come across similar sites/pages.

Because of the 'typhoid Mary' spread-ability of this disease, I feel we may be in for a really large spread globally which will impact the global economy and through extension, retail domain prices.

One thing is for sure...things will get worse before they get better.

Aid from Russia expected to arrive in US on Wednesday

All I know is that regardless of political stance. We should all know that the world is not equipped and ready to handle a pandemic. And we need to start funding these organizations and keeping current medical supplies immediately after COVID.

Russia sent about 50 doctors + nurses and medical supplies to Italy about 3 weeks ago.... Cuba sent 35 doctors and nurses two weeks ago and even Albania sent some docs and nurses about 3 days ago.

And you know what the rich neighbor Germany and the rest of the EU send to Italy? F*CK ALL!
So.... Don't look a gift horse in the mouth! In times of need many countries help others out!

holy crap.. this is just horrible... i am sure in spain/italy they alrewady felt this.. but when it hits america.. and gets all over the news and we can actually understand it in english.. then it begins to hit home just how bad it is in hospitals now.. and all this with worse to come... i mean check out this video below.. nurses in tears.. some quitting jobs.. saying they're unprepared.. people crowded in hospitals coughing covid on each other...

does this makes you wonder guys whether this level of being unprepared by govt can imply this is all preplanned in terms of just plain population reduction? i mean how else do you explain we can fly to them moon and split atoms, and yet in most crucial times we cant make enough masks and ventilators..

Just a reality check about who our (US) enemies are. Leading the list, far and above all others, is Russia. It has been that way for decades and there has been no change. To be clear, there are many Russian citizens that would prefer a 'normal' existence and would welcome the US and much of the world as friends but their leadership is corrupt. Several recent uprisings and protests have been squelched like they were back in the good old days...Putin is taking the country backwards. China is also considered an enemy, but the love of Americans for cheap crap has made them a top trading partner. These two countries are communist...although some younger Americans think this might be okay, thank God we have people in charge that know what that system of government means.

China Reports 130 Asymptomatic Cases of Coronavirus in One Day

China reported 130 people over the past day who were infected with the novel coronavirus but don’t have symptoms, a sign that the group of people who can spread the virus without being detected is sizable.

The tally, the first daily count of so-called asymptomatic patients, establishes a new benchmark to measure the scope of the outbreak amid a growing chorus of domestic and international criticism of China’s data.

In China, people who test positive for the virus but don’t have any symptoms are not classified as confirmed cases. This runs counter to the practice in countries like South Korea, Japan and Singapore, where all patients who test positive are included in official tallies of total cases, regardless of whether they have symptoms such as a fever or cough.

I was talking about Russia... not China. I trust China even less than I trust Russia. And if the US and Europe are dependent on China for all these medical supplies and all the rest, it's their own fault for sending all their factories to China.

China simply thanked the Western idiots and now has us by the balls. There's only one way to turn things around... bring production back home and stop being dependent on China!

In New York, the NYPD made two hate crime arrests in cases involving assailants who made anti-Asian statements.

In Philadelphia, a graphic video recently surfaced on social media showing multiple young people surrounding an Asian, striking him in the head and he falls to the ground, according to CBS Philly.

In Los Angeles, a flyer in posted in the Carson area, with a fake seal of the World Health Organization, told residents to avoid Asian-American businesses, according to Reuters.

It's happening in the big LIBERAL cities, so you know who the most likely perpetrators of the crimes are! Yes, the "good tolerant liberals!"
