Having relatives and friends scattered all over the globe, I am getting an overload of input (some on the record and some off the record).

My intention for this thread is for community members from around the world to post first hand stories and/or links to information sources that, for the most part, should be reliable.

In my community, just outside a major southeastern city, 'assets' have been placed. Only because I have friends in both high and low places have I heard about some of this. At this point it is only some basic medical supplies that should be equally distributed anyway in preparation for a natural emergency (hurricane/wildfire/etc.).

I will start with posting a link to a site with current data that seems to come from an aggregate of sources and hope others will do the same as they come across similar sites/pages.

Because of the 'typhoid Mary' spread-ability of this disease, I feel we may be in for a really large spread globally which will impact the global economy and through extension, retail domain prices.

One thing is for sure...things will get worse before they get better.

Texas governor issues statewide stay-at-home order

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has issued a state-wide executive order requiring all Texans to minimize non-essential gatherings and in-person contact with people who are not in the same household.

The executive order called Essential Services and Activities Protocols is essentially a stay-at-home order aimed at minimizing the spread and transmission of Covid-19.

The order goes into effect at 12:01 a.m. local time on April 2 and will end on April 30, Abbott said.

we will see how it all goes I guess. There could be a response from the US as the evidence grows stronger, hopefully very soon, America is wreaking by the day economically headed towards a depression , I hope I am so wrong , but I can only project what I can see happening with my own eyes. The writing is on the wall to me as of right now, again, I hope I am so wrong

Currently under quarantine here in Hawaii -- it is disappointing to think that people are not paying too much attention to social distancing at the moment. It will come up over the next few weeks.

I really hope that things get better soon, and that we will not be overwhelmed.

agreed 100% , further to say that China is pissed with the US for giving Taiwan aid just the other day for coronavirus.

one has to wonder about the CDC as well, standing down for so so long on testing, denying even doctors and nurses testing say they did not meet federal guidelines to be tested

Abbott is being soft with it, no “Order” to arrest, most will comply here, there will be the total selfish idiots, I am sure they will be dealt with, but most will comply voluntarily

I would characterize China as expansionist... they are expanding their influence all over and have been exporting several millions of their citizens all over the world where they open businesses with the help of the Communist Chinese government, selling all the cheap but crappy Chinese products and ending up destroying local businesses.

On the other hand, Globalists like the majority of leaders of European countries, North America, Australia, New Zealand, as well as Gates and especially Soros, are actually importing many millions of immigrants (mostly illegals) with open border policies or very lax borders, the exception being Trump.

These Globalists should all be put together inside a closed hall and sprayed with Chinese Bat & Rat Virus....
