After finding this thread as a new post, then checking out the OP to get a better idea of what this thread was about, I google searched "what is defi" to try and get a better understanding beyond decentralized finance.



Then I checked out NameBio to see how Whatis***** sales fared in general...

Come to find there were 60 recorded sales...

The first being, WhatisInternet.com @ $600 from 2007

I have been following Defi for a while. Exactly what Defi is has been a highy debated subject. If you think rants on Namepros gets out of hand, you should see people argue "Defi."...It makes a NewG vs. .com discussion look like child's play.

There are your "Decentralized" maximalists who feel every layer should be decentralized and meanwhile you have some who feel that just one layer needs to be decentralized.

I believe most feel Defi means transacting on a decentralized blockchain, even if a centralized organization, DApp or layer is part of the transaction.

Over time DeFi can become more decentralized, but it does need a centralized component to get to full and complete decentralization.

My DeFiList.com was sold at $666 on Godaddy some days ago, which I cost $12 to register 1 year ago didn't bargain with a higher price although I think it's worth higher, hope the buyer could make a good use of it or sale it higher to a right person to make good profits

The nice thing about Defi is its potential is not defined. There are many potential use cases. Here, for a first, we have an ethereum blockchain domain (ENS) used as collateral for a loan.
