This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

I had my first sale on SH a few weeks ago. The name was sold in a couple of days after it was listed, it did not even have a logo. I must have been extremely lucky!

Name Sold: M y d o q/dot/com/

Selling price: Original $1899 and after negotiations $1549
My commission: $1084

Listed on SH: Stayed for a couple of days

Total Premium Listings on SH: Now 45 and growing

I was surprised as I received an email from SH explaining there was an offer on this name the next day I have listed it. I authorised them to make all negotiations with the buyer, the deal was done in the same day and got payed after 12 days.

Turned out the buyer had a similar name registered and is now using my name to redirect to his.

Very happy with the support team that guided me through the process as it was my first sold domain ever!
Did you really pay 70% commission(1084/1549)?

This week:

All
/ We / Eat —com
Brandpa — $750 net ($1000 minimum accepted on a $1495 BIN)
Closeouts purchase + one renewal.
6th sale of 190+ names

Story / Ocean —com
Dan.com — $500 (make offer)
Auctions Purchase ($160) + one renewal

Joshy —co
Sedo — 200GBP (make offer)
$1 Godaddy purchase, was going to expire next week. Squeezing all I can from the 500 .co names I bought last April, overall return on that batch is about 10x.

Nothing life-changing but it’s comforting to get some sales in this time.

You got to give it up to Squadhelp, they are dominating a lot of user sales, at great prices as well.

Congrats.

Which platform?

Sorry, forgot to include that. All were at the asking price.

The 3 smaller ones were direct on my BetterNames(dot)com site. The water//automation one was by lease, and the other 2 by escrow.com.

The big one was from Afternic as a BIN.

posted first in another thread by mistake but could not delete there later

gta5/es sold for $150 on Sedo on March 23d. Registered expired domain when saw many TLDs taken. ($6.59 at GoDaddy). Hold time ~7 months.

It was set to "make offer", so I got offer for $100, counter offered but buyer came up $50 only. So I accepted offer sending domain into auction (Sedo gives this option, counting this $150 offer as a starting winning bid).
Auction ended with no other bids, so sale went into next stage of payment transaction.
{I thought to wait till I got paid for assurance, but decided to post here now while waiting for payment, just for sharing how it goes(for reader's benefit). Because so far for last couple of days Sedo has been managing to have buyer pay, I feel it may end up with canceled sale.
Even though this domain was registered in September last year, GoDaddy shows it can be unlocked April 20th, I talked to them, they are "working on it". Sedo in its turn is saying that .es extension can be transferred on Registry level (Nic.es) only, so I had to create account with them as well, getting .es "Identifier Number"...
So far still hoping sale goes through. Will update.
P.S. Buyer seems to be from Russia(Sedo's info).

Did you accept first offer?

Or was it back and forth?

Just trying to get a feel for negotiations -- nicely done!
