It has been very difficult to list and manage an inventory at @Sedo:
  • the seller interface is old and cumbersome.
  • the spreadsheet they offer for bulk updates is old and cumbersome. Sedo no longer accepts some of the information the sheet requests.
  • the ownership verification process demands a massive amount of time
Until Sedo gets its act together, I give up!

Afternic and others are so much more user-friendly.

Hi Abdullah,

If Sedo closed your account because of the country you live in, then you would have been notified via email. This is is not an issue directly related to Sedo but rather a decision of the US government. These suspensions were due to the U.S. embargo on certain countries, which has a direct impact on the business relations of our parent company, United Internet. Since Sedo is under the umbrella of the United Internet’s companies, we have had to enact this policy resulting in ramifications for Sedo customers based in the countries published. What this entails is that any business relationship or financial transaction, for example, through a domain sale or domain parking with customers based with these countries are prohibited.

If you want to read more about this, you can visit the U.S. government’s official website: https://www.treasury.gov/resource-center/sanctions/programs/

If you have domains listed in your Sedo account, they will automatically be switched to "Not for Sale". Should the embargo be lifted, we look forward to resuming our business relationship and dealings with you.

All the best
Chris

@Abdullah Abdullah, my friend,

You live in Cuba!?? :xf.eek:

Seems unfair,
Samer

this verification process is a drag, it's been days @Sedo

So removing AND adding domains is a hassle,

and it's only 1!

Hi Samer,

I have checked the domain, but its already verified in your Sedo account. You can see it listed for sale here: https://sedo.com/search/?keyword=vpgj.com&partnerid=324561&language=e

You are not able to apply for the 4L auction, this auction is only for buyers and the names have be pre-selected.

All the best
Chris

Real time; fix the bugs,

Hello Chris,
I see that vpgj.com is listed for sale at Sedo by a chinese seller, and I think Samer is not from China.
So I think he is asking you to remove the listing by the previous seller from China, and add the domain to his seller account.
Hope this helps.

It's very client non-friendly. I'm sure it's better to fix your site so no one will need to clear cache or cookies in order to see the right data. What if a buyer with big bucks comes and also sees some irrelevant stuff?

Hi Samer,

With the greatest of respect, I do not know where you come from, and you havent provided me with sufficient information about your account to deal with the query. So that we have all the information needed to look into your query, its probably best if you send your query to our support centre from the email address registered with your Sedo account. One of our agents will look into it for you then they will have all your account information to hand to deal with this for you.

All the best with that
Chriss

Samer, you have to send an email to Sedo Support centre from the email address registered with your Sedo account. So they will change the listing, from the chinese previous owner to your seller account.

Hope it helps! :)

Hi Chris,

I tried to list kilu.eu on Sedo 6 days ago, but it still cannot be listed.
I have just found on Sedo that someone else has already listed the same kilu.eu!

Could you please check and fix?

Thank you.

Hi Anto,

The domain was removed from our marketplace on 31st July 2020. You are now able to list the domain for sale in your account. If you are having any difficulties then please let our support team know how they can help you via [email protected] and they will get back to you asap.

All the best selling your domain.

Hi Chris,
- Thank you for your help.
Yes, I will try it again.

- BTW, do not ask us to write to contact @sedo.com, we will never receive any reply. Never :(
Or very rarely, but often the answer has nothing to do with the question :(

- If I have any issue with Sedo, could I write to you directly?
If so, at which email address?

Thanks again and take care.

Hi Anto,

All emails received at [email protected] should be replied to, if there are any issues with any of your correspondence not being responded to then just let me know so I can look into it for you. If you put FAO Chris in the subject of the email to the same email address, then it will make its way to me and I will help you.

All the best
Chris
