2020 Best Domain Registrar Poll

Voting by domain registrar customers only, no staff please.

If you work for or are directly affiliated with any of the registrars above, please do not vote in this poll.

Poll will run 20 days from posted date.

What is different about this poll than other similar polls for 2020?

  • List is in alphabetical order
  • Staff members of any registrar are asked not to vote
  • No wording in the poll description that might show interest towards one registrar over the other
  • Uniregistry has been added

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Why are you creating multiple thread on same topic?

I am sorry, but having 2 competing polls on the same forum at the same time discredits the outcome of both....

Just making them private discredits them.

Anticipate a lot more 1&1, Network Solution, (joke) votes...

The next "Watergate"...

This is a new poll in alphabetical order, Uniregistry added and staff members of any registrar are asked not to vote.

The poll results are private? They appear to be public, which is what I intended

It's like Brexit all over.

Don't like the results?

Queue up another vote.

I guess I should start a 3rd poll where only employees are allowed to vote.
Participation trophies all around.

No doubt one company is out innovating the others. On top of that they got stellar customer service. To top it off the CEO is active with the smallest domain investors to the largest. Nobody is too small and all are equally treated.

Part of the problem is that your company seems to always get in the middle of these polls and make comments on the threads, rather than letting the NP users have their vote.

Would you prefer they do it secretly without identifying themself as employees like other registrars?

First off, their (Epik) engagement is not a problem. They are NP users as well. In addition, they are in a unique position to educate and give valuable data that helps most individual investors. Much can be learned by their engagement.

Other companies are welcome to join and engage with this community. It would be to everyone's benefit if other registrars engaged, just as Epik has engaged. Let's welcome them all, not criticize them for engaging.

Having said that, Epik seems to be part of the solution with their active engagement. They are absolutely NOT the problem. Let's welcome everyone.

Ah yes, I forget it's the People's Vote!

The non-people shouldn't speak about it.

Well see if you would just not have the staff badge you could do whatever you want and nobody would question it.

Good points. At least with Epik staff they are transparent. We know they are staff. Transparency at it's best.

Should we make a poll, should employees of domain industry companies disclose their employment? Should they be required to show they are am employee of a domain industry company? Would this help clarity?

Anybody who has an opinion as to employee votes, should express it in another poll:
https://www.namepros.com/threads/should-employee-votes-count.1179775/
Duplicate TOP REGISTRAR poll serves no purpose, except invalidating the results of the 1st one, as well as its own results.

Exactly and no one will be taking it serious, the winner of the main poll will be citing that as their victory. Same as NameSilo last year https://markets.businessinsider.com...-wins-namepros-best-registrar-2019-1028264340/
