I love learning about online tools out there.

What do you use?

I'll start with these...

I would like to second this! Dofo is a go-to tool I now use daily, An easy one-stop place to quickly see how many and which extensions are registered and for sale. Or use the advanced search tool to answer more sophisticated questions such as how many domains in extension zzz are for sale with BIN prices above x,

An amazing free tool with an elegant, powerful and user-friendly interface. Who could ask for more?

Thanks @Macit for Dofo!

It has become one of my favs as well. Recently checked a domain that has gotten some traffic lately. I forgot it was listed years ago at a certain marketplace at one tenth of what it is worth now...glad I checked dofo!

I use dotDB.com everyday because it can tell me how many TLDs are registered for a specific keyword, it is a good indicator for evaluating the value of a domain name. I love it so much!

Download the top 1 million lists from Alexa/Quantcast and then have someone write a script/program to parse out only the websites with domains matching LL and LLL. It'd be an easy script to write. You can find someone on here to help: https://www.namepros.com/forums/developers-and-designers-for-hire.105/

Thanks to everyone who has made a contribution on this thread. Most tools and sites has been posted already amongst which I use
EXPIRED DOMAIN.NET
DOFO.COM
DNJOURNAL
NAMEBIO
NAMEPROS (of course).

BTW, is there any email extractor tool for mobile? Most works for desktop and I really don't trust emailformat.com either.

Any useful tools or sites please?

you may use AnnDN, it is a desktop application.
it manages domain names you own or intresting,
also includes tools,
one of them is drop and auction filter (pattern an keyword based) works on the cloud data (daily updated)
the other is a trend words catcher, it works on rss feeds that you associate a task.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
Is there a link to this AnnDN software

[update] whoah i just got a notification and came to find this reply that i never posted? for some reason

An instant video-conferencing/collaboration tool, handy for DN investors for a spontaneous meet-up or a planned one:

hi.tv

Basically add any custom url to it, for example:

hi.tv/dnTalk

and it will immediately create that "room" and anyone can join. Browser-based videoing, talk face-to-face about whatever, pick each other's brains, meet the seller, trends, AMA, anything.

Have fooled around with it once or twice, pretty dam impressed. They are working on a mobile version, it's desktop/laptop for now.

Created by a couple of our own NP members, introduced a couple days ago but may have been missed by a few of the general NP populace since the thread was moved to under the promos section.

Question: Is there a tool that returns results that include ”term” in the second level domain (”domain name”) under a .TLD? If there is not, there should be.

Thanks. .csv extraction possible? Also it would be great if "domains with website" would return results that are not just landers but a a real site. :xf.smile:

Nope :xf.smile:
The export feature is not something we want to add to UI because we want to keep it as simple as possible for end-users. Maybe in the future, as a separate feature inside the user account.

As for the "real website" feature, yes we have been discussing this with our team for a while. We might add this soon.
