I was talking to my Godaddy rep about this just last week

Godaddy needs to find away to start releasing these sales.

Maybe release them the same day earnings are released. And on that day they could just release domain sales results for the previous quarter (3 month lag) so not to interfere with the current quarter.

If they release three month old date every quarter maybe that would not violate the quiet period.

Releasing this date imho only helps future sales. Sales Beget More Sales.

Having a rich history of sales date (other then expiring auctions) helps the price of domain sales and negotiations.

Not only that but it encourages more people to invest in domains.
This data would really give a tremendous boost to the aftermarket.

Just imagine all the great sales we have never seen.

Its a Win/Win situation for Godaddy, their customers as well as us domainers.

Even if they only released the top 10/20/30 percent of sales based on highest sold (in dollar amounts) it would help keep pricing up for us and them.
